I have a nasty habit of landing on my face.

Any ideas on a set of poles that are somewhat lightweight and aren't gunna break? I've tried just about every variation out there, but didn't have a pair last more than a month last year. It got to the point where I'd have to leave an extra pole at the base so I'd be sure to make it through the day. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Best poles I've ever owned. The only time I've ever bent one was from repeatedly smashing through knee deep Sierra Cement to try and find the demo Sugar Daddy that had just pre-released. I bent it right back and it hasn't bent since. Not skiing, not in my ski bag, not getting tossed around the house, etc. They're light as hell and fairly thin too. Killer poles.

They are out of business now, but i have been using ICE poles for about 7 years now (yeah, the same pair)

Still haven't broken one.

Any graphite or composite pole. I used to break poles all the time. Bought a pair of Goode Composites and the poles lasted me 6 years. Very strong and very light. Depending on your height, I have a pair of almost new Smith Composites for sale in the Ski Swap category. You can also go to untracked.com. They have Goode poles at good prices. I'll never go back to metal poles.

Goode composites Any of them. Search around and you will find some for like 15 bucks. Buy 3 pairs. I had teh same problem. But now I only break 1 pair a year!!!!!
