I'm looking forward to the Pats sticking it to the Colts in Foxboro in the AFC Championship game. No piped in noise to help them. Probably no repeat of gift pass interference calls. No dome.
I didn't see the first two so can't comment. As for the other, well, Hobbs cut off Wayne, slowed down and interfered with him getting to the ball. Wayne "tackled" him because he was looking up at the ball and didn't him and tripped on his feet.
And the Moss call was probably good for the Pats. They gained a down and got more room to work with. And if you watched replays, you can see Moss with his arm wrapped around the guy behind him, which is what the line judge who made the call saw.
I though it was interesting to see the role reversal. With Brady having all the weapons and Manning having his guys drop passes and not having Harrison, who he obviously missed.
Plus the members of the '72 Dolphins paid off the officials in a vain attempt to end the Pats chances at an unbeaten season. I'm serious. We need to look into those guys bank accounts to check for unexplained large cash withdrawals.

Not skipping - digital audio feedback.
See above - the mics pick up the crowd noise and pump it through the speakers - if they're phased wrong they start feeding back. Same thing happens sometimes with the ref's mic.
Sorry, but no. Every stadium does this, including Fed Ex Field (Redskins.) I sit near the speakers and it's awful. AFAIK it's not against the rules... yet. I hope one day it will be.
You do realize that there were TWO unbeaten teams playing in that game, no? Did they bribe them to get a tie?
Sorry guys, the PATRIOTS are still the only confirmed cheaters around.

Colts cleared of cheating against Patriots
BY BOB GLAUBER |bob.glauber@newsday.com 2:17 PM EST, November 5, 2007 Newsday has learned that the NFL's investigation into complaints from the Patriots that the Colts had illegally piped in crowd noise is over. It didn't take the league long to find out that the Colts were not at fault for a crowd noise issues.
"CBS has informed us that the unusual audio moment heard by fans during the Patriots-Colts game was the result of tape feedback in the CBS production truck and was isolated to the CBS broadcast," NFL vice president Greg Aiello tells us. "It was in no way related to any sound within the stadium and could not be heard in the stadium."
According to a report on Yahoo.com, the NFL opened an investigationg after the Patriots complained of loud noise in the RCA Dome during Sunday's matchup of undefeated teams in Indianapolis.
The accusations were apparently made after some observed a "skip" in the sound during the game, which New England won, 24-20.
The Patriots have already been on the opposite end of their own cheating scandal this year, when NFL commissioner Roger Goodell found that they had illegally taped hand signals on the Jets sideline during the teams' Week 1 matchup. Head coach Bill Belichick was fined $500,000 and the team was fined $250,000 and forced to forfeit a draft pick as punishment.
Up until this weekend I didn't think they a chance, but since they continue to pull off wins and the running game has gotten marginally better I'm starting to think it's possible. However with Favre's record in Dallas and the referees consistent abilies to make calls that go against the Packers and benefit big name receivers (if Pats fans can whine so can I) it will be tough.

Old news.
I thought this thread was about the Colts being cheaters alongside the Pats, but I guess Pats fans are going to scramble around and try to throw mud on someone, anyone so as to not stand out at this moment in time.
Yes, the pats are the ONLY team in the HISTORY of the NFL that have ever "cheated" wtih camers or in any other manor for that sake. That's why every head coach hides his mouth when talking in the headset with his playbook.
Every team does or has done something shady things and the Pats were made the scape goat for the league. Hopefully the insane punishment they got will disuade everyone from doing this stupid shit and just play the game.
And anyone who hates the Patriots is going to bring up anything but a great team with an unblemished record, possibly the greatest team ever (through 9 games).
So the Pats cheated. The 49ers cheated. Broncos cheated. Pretty sure every other team out there has in some way too.

Hey, don't get upset that I corrected your obvious mistake. I'd expect you to be used to it by now.

The epitome of a Masshole
I think I'll go skiing tomorrow and you?
I take that as a compliment.
And I think I'll go surfing.
i still think the colts are cheaters and amplified the crowd noise. people at the game have reported hearing the feedback at the time, not just tv viewers. plus the crowd noise got noticibly quieter after the feedback, and is it just a coincidence that from that point on the pats offense started performing better?
the nfl is sweeping this under the rug. as we saw from the officiating, the nfl for some reason wanted the colts to win yesterday.
i'll be at work tomorrow.

Yet another one, a Massdouche this time.
You guys hide behind belligerent words, but I can tell you're really sensitive.
Belligerent and sensitive, hells yeah. That's why I was lighting scented candles, reading sweet love poetry, and banging yo' moms while you was still pooping your Underoos.
