Go up on Red or at least Molas/Coal bank. You'll find someone to tag along with.

A pal from D-town told me he had 14" new on top of some old a couple weeks ago. and access is easy now with many roads still passable. Get out and explore cause you'll never put a dent in the lines to be had around there - but you'll have some of the best times of your life tryin.

There's tons of good folks in your neck of the woods.

The drinking part should be no problem in that town...

Are there no single guys on this board anymore? How come no one has responded to this yet?

I'll be in Silverton all winter. I figure on making regular trips to Durango to stay sane. Definitely looking to meet people to ski with (although drinking sounds good as well). I'll send you a pm with my phone number.

This place is slipping!! It seems to be turning more into Epic everyday. You will have to tell if Big Blue looks like his avatar.

Okay powchica-tonights homework assignment is to actually read more then the first few posts of the thread. If you read past the first page or two then you would now how much that truck sucked-I know the thread is super long but read into it a bit more-it recounts an entire season of ski travels.

And as for road trips-just be ready to chase that storm and we'll get along just fine.

It may be TGR, but at least its not jackson...Powderchick, come by the shop at purg and we can drink AND ski!

I'll be back home in D-town til may. With la nina, I'll be chasing a lot this year. I'll pm my # and email.

I'd be interested in meeting more people in the area too this year from the board. I haven't burnt any skis yet this year...celebration?

    ^^^^^^^^^

I am working in the 4 Corners area tomorrow(11/30) and will likely end up in Durango tomorrow night and then probably head towards Pagosa on Saturday.

It's been a couple years since I left Durango, so I wouldn't mind heading out tomorrow evening for a couple beers at Steamworks, etc. Anyone????

11/30 Edit: At this point I think I am heading over to Pagosa Springs this afternoon to avoid any potential Durango-Pagosa shitshow tomorrow morning.

The girlfriend and I will be in Telluride starting on January 6. PM me if you ever need a place to crash (pull-out queen sofa...or our bed), or some ski or drinking partners. We'll likely be hitting up Silverton a decent bit as well.
