Maggot music-mix creation, input needed: Earhole production

Got a bit of time on my hands and been brainstorming an idea with the input of the collective needed. I have been creating some mixes of my own lately with ski season in mind, as well as future bike season. I have heard several mixes put together by maggots, plus all the ski movie soundtracks and I'm not looking to do what they do, but thinking of a "see what happens" approach.

So what I'd like to do is: anyone who is interested in the project send me ONE song. Try to have the song be a standard length, please no 12 minute versions of Freebird. You get the idea on song length.

Now for the type of song submission, make it something that moves you, makes you think of skiing sick pow, reminds of your best day ever or is the song that you have to listen to on the way to or on the snow. I know that everyone of you has ONE track that is SIIIIIIIICK, that you would love to share with the world. Well here is the chance to pump up other mags and get their funk on in the deep.

Send your submissions to: tgrmix at comcast dot net
-keep the size under 9MB max
-please include your board name in the email, I won't accept songs from alias or sub 100 posters, if you feel that this is unfair, post here first
-also include song name and artist if its not included on the attatchment so it can make the mix list
-i can convert file types, but mp3 or .wav would be prefered and save me some time

I'll give it through the weekend or so to collect the songs and put them in an order with some sort of flow, then host it up for everyone to add to their music listening media of choice.

I have one or two options for hosting that are mediocre, if you have a better suggestion or can help me out, post here or send an email.

should be interesting, all rights reserved, an Earhole Production

wow, what a swing and a miss. not one response. not one email.

was this really that lame of an attempt or just that no one wants to dig out a favorite track of sound that pumps them up for skiing?

Maybe no one listens to music when they ski. Or you all listen to NPR on your way to the slopes.

I put it here for more views, thinking more views than the music forum.

so here is the bump for a second go around.

I am talking about what you listen to prior to OR during skiing, as your favorite track. Compiling the submissions and having a Maggot playlist for people to check out. If it just so happens that you listen to a song that you created, wonderful, send it in.

So are you mixing this down to a continuous mix or will it be available a separate tracks? I've got lots of stuff I can send, but trying to figure out what genre we're talking so I can send something that will fit...

Edit: Nevermind, I found it. As soon as it uploads, you'll have it...
Edit2: Not sure if the song info will come thru. Rollins band --> Illumination

    Why no sub-100 post maggots?

My suggestion though, favourite riding tune:
    Blondie - Heart of Glass

trying to weed out the alias, send over your song

got a message or two about people needing time to whither it down or can't get to thier music for a few days, so i'll probably wait a week or so to put this together. Not coming together as fast as I thought it might.

    Douche or retard?

This is the e-mail correspondance I´ve had with Crinkle, bar one; the first e-mail I sent him with Blondie - Heart of Glass. Sorry about this starting at the bottom.

    What is a header IP?
Could this header IP belong to Google´s servers? Gmail is owned and
operated by Google you know, but I´m not really familiar with the
    location of that or those.
My English is as good as I want it to be, by the way. And yes, I am
Norwegian. Just so happened I was raised in a family with a lot of
    British relatives.

First, he suspects me of being "not from across the pond" due to a header IP I really had no clue what was, until a fellow maggot told me, then gets on my back for writing good English. All this for being nice and contributing to his cause, which I initially thought was a great idea. Wanted to share some stoke, really. What the fuck would the difference be if I actually lived in the fucking states, or in Canada or whatever fucking place you fancy me living in? Someone getting action behind your back and you just found out about it? Did your boyfriend pretend he was Norwegian, and you found out he was from Minnesota?

as you bring this public to look for MORE attention

and if you are trying to make a point that I am a douche, I won't argue that, ask the ones that know me best, I am a dick, especially when all of those IPs are US.

thanks to those that have participated for the entries so far.

if you are from norwedgie then my bad, but your actions are that of a sub-100 poster, aka alias. time will prove me wrong. I have been here enirely too long not to recognize the pattern.

Who cares what side of the pond he's on? Isn't that the point of the interweb or something?

As a side note, I visited some friends in Norway when I was about 10. I went to school with one of the kids for a day and sat through an english class. They knew english FAR better than me. It was pathetic!
