I hear brett's is like 60cm. But he's black below the waist so you might be smaller.
125.
What have you been using instead of poles?
*giggles*
Slowwww Pitch.... :eyebrow wiggle:
depends on what you like. im 6'2 and use a 48" (just over 120cm). it keeps me forward more. a race coach cut my poles down short at a young age to get me more forward and it stuck.
Grab a pair somewhere and see what you like. Then purchase.
Easy point of reference, turn em upside down and grab em just below the "plastic thingies"--actual ski tech term). If your arm and elbow are at 90 degrees, you are in the right ball park.
I'm 6' and use 130 cm "ski poles". 125's feel uncomfortably short and don't feel like they give me enough push power when skating/traversing.
So 125cm is a good bet ?
Sounds like a lame JONG question but I've been alpine snowboarding for years and just getting back on skiis this year (Solly 1080s CR Johnsons off SAC).
You guys inspired me to 2 plank again. Just need Solly 912s or similiar and I'm good to go for gear, for now....
Thanks ~
couldn't you buy them a bit longer then you think youll need adn then cut them down the perfect size??
Is there any reason I couldn't just zip tie some bigger baskets to the existing ones? Is there a better option?
That's a good deal. Those look like the same one's I got on Overstock for about $36.
it's either 120 125 or 135 cm
can always cut 125s a little, best bet 125cm ?
you guys rock, trigger pulled, clint:yourock:

Buy two, sell one to your momma...I know I did.
Too late I guess but I would have suggested the 135 and cutting. You can always cut when they're too long but too short is an issue. 125 should be close depending on how long your legs are and such. Hopefully they're long enough.
What's SAC?

Sounds like a personal problem.
I'm 185 cm ( not sure how much that is in feet/inches.. when will you finally switch to metrics?) and use 125 cm poles , they work perfectly for me..
Now I remember I have 130s, and I'm 5'11"
Bought the 125's.....other pair are 48" am 6' ....from the ground.
And about a 1'.........around.
Think about it. :)
5'10" - 6'0" 125 cm
6'1" - 6'3" 130 cm
just used my daughter's burton Punch 133 snowboard
for sizing, I think I need 130's-
are you guys sure I can remove the grips and cut 135s down to 130 ?
Yes. Uncle Rico cut his down (he isn't on here that much though).
Cool, got the biggins 135 cm , they're aluminum, should be a cinch to cut.
Goldmember, we sat next to the Doug Coombs box for the Anomaly screening last friday night here in Boston. You could see the resemblance in a few of the family there.
Thanks again for the pole knowledge
now, who's got some solly binders for sale ?
Stick the grip in a pot of boiling water to soften any glue and expand the rubber/plastic. Put them in a door jam or vice and start yanking.
