Anybody got a Rossignol contact (create it related)

I was one of the top 50 in the topsheet design contest and was supposed to get a pair of skis. But I haven't heard anything from them yet. I decided to check in at Newschoolers as there were a couple of other winners there and none of them have heard back either. Most all of us have sent emails to address we submitted our designs to, but no one has had any type of response at all.

The old createit site and winners have been pulled from the web completely. The kids at Newschoolers have said there's an ad for the next create it contest in the latest freeskier, but none of us have got our skis from the first contest yet.

Does anyone have a rossignol contact they'd like to PM my way?

Umm, not exactly. I do know that the rossi home base is in Park City, Ut now.
That doesn't help though.

You obviously have not dealt much with major ski vendors. MD9 would do much better by having an inside contact.

I would suggest that the national office (marketing) would be the better to deal with as a regional guy would have had little to do with it and would much prefer to keep it that way if it's being mishandled.

Give it a chance this is a big time of year with a lot of things getting shipped and I'm assuming you were offered new product which would have just got in. It's not great that they haven't kept you in touch but that doesn't mean it isn't in the works, this is the time of year that and lots of other stuff happens.

Good Luck MD9. I got an idea while ordering my 192 stiff Bro's last week and within 15 minutes of placing my order Splat was calling me. Watch out...these things are going to be sick. BTW, fuck Rossi and support your Bro's.

Ha ha. Who do you think designed all the previous PM gear top sheets? And who do you think already has 192 graphic samples on his computer right now?

I'm going to get some 171 Scratch BC wrs 128-98-121 (for free) and then center mount them for park. :D

You need to just relax, they will get the skis to you but it might not be till dec or january. They have to fill all their retail orders first and that can take till Dec.

They will get it to you, but do not go putting any dogshit under their door handles!

Put the dogshit in the trashcan but make sure it is on a Jack-In-The-Box type of springy thing so they get dogshit splattered in their face when they lift the lid. That should speed up the process.

Ha. I'm relaxed. It's just nice to have contact. I've moved since the submission and the contest has ended. It would be nice to let some know I live in another state before they ship something.

I think it was a great contest and plan to enter again, but it would be good to have a little dialog or at least a generic email they could send out to all winners to keep them in the loop. It sounds like everybody is sort of having a similar experience. They could probably save some headaches and foster some goodwill with very little effort. Although, I did notice that most of the contact info I got came with vehicle descriptions and parking locations... ;)
