This is an account of one of the saddest things I've ever seen:
One day, in about 1996, when everyone was getting tattoos, we're all sitting on the couch in my college room. There's 7 of us-- myself, my three roommates, and three guys from the next room. Their roommate was a wagon jumper like you're never seen. If he heard it was cool, he'd try it. As we drunkenly taunted each other for lacking true MarioKart skillz, he walked in the door, breathless.
He was excited. We were underwhelmed. At first.
"Guys!" He yells. "CHECK THIS OUT!" We all look up from the TV to see him scramble out of his shirt, and rip off a huge bandage on his right bicep.
There, underneath the bandage, was the following image:

After a moment of flabbergasted silence, we all managed, amazingly, not to laugh-- it would have crushed him-- and stammer some compliments.
This moment will be frozen in my memory forever. At any rate, this is about the only tattoo idea I've seen that's dumber than getting my screen name tattooed on my leg.
"Karl Stall" would be an improvement over the stupid-ass tatoo that I already have!

Trying to explain to my (nonexistent at this time) kids someday that they are not getting a tatoo on them would be really difficult with an "LCC" tatoo on my leg. Just because I played on the internet at work, would pretty much guarantee my kid would get an astronaut planting a flag on his ass tatoo. Therefore, no.
I've met some great people here, and look forward to meeting more. But don't plan to get anything on my skin because of it.
