I was thinking about jumping over while in GVA. What would that cost, AH?
Apparently, however, I still haven't got my photo annual :(
With easyjet you could fly over from GVA to AMS for something like 90 bucks, roundtrip, depending on flight times..
When are you in GVA? (as I'm going to the MINI! :D)
i've read it as well. really great article splat. kudos to you.
Poland???
Yeah, right.
heh...;)Quote:

props to pnr too.
And can't wait to read it.
very nice read man!!!
Nice!
thanx, all. Major props have to go to Pinner for coming up with the idea, staying in the US to work, and getting fired the day we left. Too bad there wasn't room for everything that went down, but then we'd all be in BIG trouble.......
Looking forward to it also.....IF I EVER GET MY SUBSCRIBED TO ISSUE.
And it would be nice to get the Photo Annual too.
End of rant.
I call that look my "Urban Blue Steel."
I didn't know phUnk smoked.Quote:
^^^ HAH!
Looks more like you're sneaking a peek at splats crotch...
So, like, what band are you in? What does it take to get backstage to meet guys?
Only when I forget to wax!Quote:

So is that why Pinner isn't in the photo? Or is there another story? ;)Quote:

Pinner, Roberta Flack and the furious five were all trying to infiltrate the socialist dock workers alliance of Hoboken. In the midst of the chaos, a 2 foot tall floating duck came to their aid. They called him Horatio.Quote:

Gotta go and check if the latest issue has already arrived on the newstands here. I'm stoked to read the story!
I'm going back again to the Slovakian side of the Tatras on the 30th of January (for three weeks). It looks quite ok there at the moment, more snow than last year this time, needs some more though...but the great thing there is if the base is good, you can have your own tracks everywhere even if it hasn´t snowed for weeks - the locals just don´t ski off piste in general.
My friend is just scanning some pictures from last season, I'll try to mail them here before I leave. There are some ok shots of couloir skiing from "just one mountain" there...heh.
PS. I should visit also Zakopane this time...I've heard the nightlife is pretty damn crazy there, eh...???:D
Yo, Jiehkevarri. Good to hear from you. Say hi to Jerzy, our guide. Tell him I said to take you for a run in the trees.Quote:

So, Jerzy is from Zakopane, right?
Yes, his last name is Surmiak. Everybody knows him.Quote:

Thanks.
I'll have to try manage a trip there.
It might be a bit difficult though...cause I have to be with clients on the low Tatra (Nizke Tatry) side in Slovakia. We have a bus in use but it´s always a hassle to organize group trips around...but maybe this year I'll just announce that 'tomorrow we're heading to Zakopane for some serious drinking"...:)
Also, there´s nice rando/backcountry possibilities on the High Tatra (Vysoke Tatry) side...e.g. from Tatranska Lomnicky (which is just on the other side of the border/High Tatra ridge from Zakopane)
Check out Morskie Oko hostel in the b/c. Can't blame you for where you're at. We kept hearing that Slovakia is 40% cheaper than Poland and the women are 40% more beautiful.
Well, I've been in Poland only once... but I bet it's cheap in Slovakia, and the women...eh, you know the Chzech/Slovak playboy models...:D
There´s a stripper twice every night on one big hotel where we staying. Sure beats the snobby swedish girls around the Alps (sorry, all the Swedes here...it just happens to be so that your women must hate us Finns...[grumpy hillybilly voice])
I've keep that hotel in mind. Nice tips mang, keep them coming.
As everyone here knows, I'm rarely at a loss for words, but when our guide first told me that, and he quite clearly meant it, I just didn't know what to say.Quote:

Absolutely, un-freaking-believably beautiful women there.
Can't imagine 40% more beauJEOMK
