Tucks is one of the origina "earn your turns" back country spots in the U.S. There are days you get some serious gaper action but for the most part it is good people all around. We used to hike up at like 5am with Hibachi grills, beers and a mess of grub for a big cook out at the base after getting in some laps. Good times.

I was there on Sunday the 9th lot of snow. The snow fields were great there was a bunch of people some nice hucks and super steep high speed turns. Worth the this weekend if the weather is good. The sunday before that I was at GOS alot less people and also super fun and worth the hike not as steep.

I was gonna start a new thread but I'll just bump this one.
Anyone been up there lately. I'm know I read a post on here whithin the past 2 weeks or so saying there was a couple hundred yard strip of snow and the skiing was pretty good (relatively speaking).
Did it last through the rain? I'm thinking about heading up next weekend.
I'd maybe be interested in having a look - gotta make those boys back in the tetons jealous, after all.
I was there 2 weeks ago. Definitely a few hundred feet of snow, still decent coverage, but fading fast and seriously runneled and undermined.
