Today I got pulled over by a State Trooper. [emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji640]][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji640]] in a [emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji6[emoji640][emoji637]] zone, which honestly is a few mph less than I was going a few seconds before, when I saw him. But still [emoji638][emoji639] over is reckless driving here, which is an expensive pain in the ass.

He gave me a warning and sent me on my way.

Anything work out surprisingly well for you lately?

He gave me a warning and sent me on my way.

I got pulled over doing 77 in a 55 on acid in high school after the Jethro Tull concert…

Don’t worry!! I am white, so drove off with only a ticket.

I mean, I played the game right - put the turn signal on, stopped quickly but safely, turned the engine off and the hazards on, put the windows down, kept my hands on wheel and didn't move as he approached. And was white and old in a nice car. But just getting a warning surprised the shit out of me, I was just hoping he'd knock it down to 19 over so it wouldn't be reckless driving. I'm still calling it a surprise win.

I got $0.10 off each gallon of gas today till it was full.

There ya go. Small victories.

Any chance you were in VA? I got a reckless driving on the interstate in VA for doing 82 in a 75. Found out the hard way anything over 80 is reckless driving.

Nah this was in Mass. Reckless is 20 over the posted limit here.

Slow down, almost twice as many people die every day in the US in car crashes, as died in the DC plane crash.

I don’t even really like Jethro Tull.

Had a buddy in our small town for a hockey tourney. Big speed trap between us and the interstate back to missoula. Gets clocked 63 in a 30. Reckless for sure. He calls the judge and apologized (judge lives where he was speeding). Somehow he gets off with a 15 dollar ticket. I love Montana.

I got up really early and drove a friend to work after driving his truck into the shop yesterday. That was miraculous me pulling some strings getting an appointment, after 2 days of working on it, and me getting up that early. Slept for 7 hours, picked him up, drove him to the shop, G2G. Old man satisfied. That turned out pretty well. Going to make some sunny turns tomorrow to celebrate. And I caught a 21:00 piper to save a shitty show. Good times.

I drove on the left shoulder 50 yards or so to bypass backed up cars to get to the lumberyard. Cop pulled me over, I said I thought the turn in to the lumber yard was sooner. He said "You know better. You're a local." I said, that's the nicest thing anyone's said to me in a month. I would have been happy to get a ticket for the privilege of being called a local, but he let me off. Double win.

Also, what's wrong with driving on the left shoulder. If they didn't want people to drive there they could have put in a ditch.

Same. Packed everything I owned in my car after college and drove west. Ended up in Seattle. That wasn't the right call so I moved to Purgatory to be a ski bum for a season. 33 years later and it's all worked out pretty good.

I was moving home for the summer to work a carpentry job I had lined up, I was gonna live at my parents for a couple months to save up a few bucks and then move to Alaska. At my farewell party I met a girl and decided I'd put off leaving for a few days. And here we are. The only real plan I ever had never even got started. But it all worked out.

Your plan worked brilliantly. You just didn't realize what your real plan was. Throw a good party, meet a girl.
