Looking for a replacement ski
Been skiing Kastle MX98 in a 194 for 14 years. I have been through about 15 pairs and I have two more in the wrapper but need to find something to replace it.
Any suggestions.
Needs to have these characteristics:
-190 or larger
-cambered ski or very very little rocker on the tip or tail
-prefer vertical sidewall, torsion box construction.
Thanks for any feedback or suggestions

Not much out there that fills that bill. I get the RX recco but still. Lol
The FL one nine two one oh five is a bad, bad mama jama, I own them. Good luck finding the top end, seriously.
Maybe the HL RC nine five, it may/will have more tip/tail rocker than you want. Plus it’s not close to one nine four, not sure you’ll need that length as its a serious weapon, esp in the comp build. Again, good luck finding the top end, for real. It will be more fun than a flat tail jammer and more versatile , fosho and I dig flat tail jammers, hello Rnine nine COMP.
Fuck you fucking emojis!

If you are on firm snow, try a Mens FIS GS ski. It’s a similar experience to the 194 MX98. Same length/radius/dampness but grips icy spots with more tenacity.
I Have a couple of pairs of WC GS Skis, Vandeer 30 m 193. Ski is truly insane. I have a pair of atomic wc gs skis, 186 27 meter and a 190 30 meter.
Thanks for the recommendations. I have tried the custom Wagner, it did not really work out. I feel no one outside Austria, Germany and Switzerland knows how to manufacture a true laminate properly.

Man— fourteen years and fifteen pairs generated two reactions from me—
A) you absolutely love that ski, and
B) you stopped learning new things a long time ago.
NTTAWWT. If you’re happy, you’re happy. I still own/ski OG Gotamas every spring in the high alpine on very-well-hated Fritsches.
My midlife crisis is a bit different from yours, but from one legend to another, I’d recommend going out on a limb.
As Pluffen likes to say— order whatever HL ski looks attractive.
Lose the baggage. We don’t ski yesterday. We only get depressed living in our minds of yesterday.
Depression comes from thinking of the past.
Anxiety comes from thinking of the future.
Peace comes from thinking in the now.
Peaceful anticipation comes from dreaming the present into reality.
Buy new skis. I don’t mean another pair— I mean a new design. Order whatever HL you think fits the bill.
I mean, you have extra skis to hold you over in the interim.
Oh— and Tech Talk, JONG!
