It is a sad day, indeed. While inspector gadget has not posted lately, he was a maggot in every sense of the word. I know that I will miss him a lot Great skier.. Great guy. Truly a wonderful human being. I will miss him.

Oh damn, Richard was a good guy. RIP
That’s awful. Hopefully he and his wife are together again.
RIP, IG.
Damn. He was a solid dude, through and through. I know he helped a lot of folks navigate home buying, myself included.
RIP IG

Ah shit. I’ve been basically mia for a long time but he was always in the back of my mind and I would look for his posts anytime I popped back through this place, hoping for some sign of him and maybe better news. Fuck cancer in its stupid fucking face.

RIP.
Endless pow, my friend.
Damn, that sucks. RIP Inspector Gadget, you'll be missed here.
Damn.
Thx for letting us know.
God dammit that sucks so much. Truly one of the best people I have ever met. Fuck cancer, my heart aches for his daughter (his daughter and mine were classmates)

My condolences to those who were close to him, never got a chance to ski with him.
Damn, I met and got to ski with him at one of Gordy's camps back in the day. He was all the things people have said about him; funny, kind, generous. Hopefully he and his wife are making turns together once again.
RIP. Bummer to read this.
Very sad to hear. What kind of cancer was it?
RIP
My first home in SLC was mortgaged by him, and realtor was another maggot on same transaction.
Sad news.
I will be thinking about this one for a while. Can't think of a more kind and genuine human and friend.
He helped us on the lending front to get into our condo and home (along with other mags here) and he was nothing but amazing.
We also had some super fun ski days together!
Just such a good human.
RIP and condolences to his family. Losing both parents to cancer in a few short years...I can't even image.
Remember dolphin turns? My favorite IG anectdote was him waxing BWPA on the nastar course, after BWPA was running his usual trash talk.
I feel bad because I know I've met Inspector Gadget, but I'm having trouble remembering him. Does anyone have any photos?
Ah fuck cancer, hopefully his family will find peace now.
Cancer can fuck right off. Condolences to all who knew and cared for him and the family
Story about him kicking bwpa but in the nastar course is a good one
Damn, RIP IG.
Only met him a few times, but seemed like a good dude plus he hooked me up with some free skis. Condolences to his friends and family.
i didn't know him well but met him a few times, the first time was when I bought a pair of kids skis (for a kid who's now an adult) that I think we still have around here somewhere. It was a solid deal and he seemed like a solid dude all around. RIP
