kind of an odd turn of events around the ohio st OC. bobby boy leaves whatever role he was fucking shit up in with the pats to accept the position last month then takes the head job at BC this week, leaving chip kelly to swoop in as the new, new ohio st OC and further guarantee that UCLA is broomstick raped in every single big10 matchup for the next half decade.
This makes it pretty clear Chip made the obvious choice

Let’s get back to proper protocol with new threads fellas.

Chip Kelly focussed on offense with Ohio State's resources is pretty scary.

Chip Kelly HATES recruiting and begging for money but he needed to kill at BOTH to have any chance at UCLA. He has plenty of cash after 2 NFL contracts so this way he can run offense at one of the blueblood football programs in the country.
Got tickets to Oregon @ Michigan! Stoked to experience the Big House!

Hopefully the Ducks play them like last time they were in the Big House
Reggie Bush will get his Heisman Award back.
That's great, the Heisman Committee calibrated their moral compass after OJ died.
No.
When Manziel and other winners started speaking up, the Heisman Trust sensed the momentum shift and worked to stay ahead of it.
The hypocrisy of the Heisman Trust treating Reggie differently than other winners, many having committed far worse violations, was readily apparent.
They had to save face and reinstate him.
This makes them 100% more perceptive than the NCAA.
i'm looking forward to see if Washington finishes above .500. not only did they lose all their superstuds, they got the worst deal for their 1st year big10. they are at rutgers thier 1st big10 road travel game, helluva trip, then are also at iowa, indianna and penn state and play michigan.
nothing against washington but that looks rough. i imagine the big10 scheduling office got some calls from UW after seeing that schedule.

Buffs struggling at home to beat ND State.
Shiloh Sanders seems like a real piece of work. I've watched 3 Buffs games in the past year (counting tonight) and he's had late hits or dumb sportsman type shit like that in all three, with all of them costing the buffs (and his kidney against Oregon) dearly.
I like the Buffs but I just don't love the collective Sanders effect. Sorry, not sorry.

i'm ready for MACtion.
NDSU is always a good team. 9-4 against FBS. Buffs made it close with dumb penalties on 3rd down, clock management etc. Gonna lose a few they shouldn't until (if?) they figure that out. Also gonna win a few they shouldn't cuz #2 and Hunter. Not as good as it could be given the talent, but still world's better than what I've watched for 20yrs.
heels by the grace of god.
Utes won their opener and also honored Patrick Mahomes' John the Baptist:

Rising is back. The Utes are going to run the Big12!

You gotta take the good with the bad?? I'm glad we won but it didn't inspire a lot of confidence.
It will be interesting to see how this season plays out and what that does for next year. If we shit the bed again this year and he goes and gets a whole new team again through the transfer portal than my faith in Prime may start to waiver. Beyond my sentimental objections to the new transfer rules, going out and getting a whole new team each year because the previous season sucked doesn't seem like the best strategy, and doesn't do much for team play and cohesion. Those intangibles still make a difference with kids at this age and experience level, and as much fun as Prime is I don't think he can pull together a whole new group of rando transfers every year just by the force of his personality.
From your mouth to God’s ears!
It was nice to be back in the stadium, even if it was against a JV squad.

This x10. Would love to watch CU just control a game start to finish, but we'll take the win.
And Hunter is off the charts. Shedeur can really just fire into his general direction and 90%+ chance he's bringing it in. That 3rd TD was ridiculous. The dude was getting leveled and the ball was behind him.

one of the best catches in recent memory.
Just watched the last 10 min and was hoping NDSU would pull it off. I love it when FCS win or give FBS a tough game. And agree Hunter is crazy good.
Go Griz! And hopefully Bison are on the other side of the playoff bracket...they are going to be good this year.
He is one of those guys that i just do not see the outlandish talent in, and i dont know why. He just doesnt look physically dominant... and yet he makes play after play, and ridiculous athletic move after ridiculous athletic move. Its weird that my eyes dont agree with the reality. He's like Devonta Smith, but also plays defense... which is ridiculous. Hopefully he can stay healthy this year and put together a long highlight reel. Im rooting for him.
Unlimited transfers suck. Its probably more fair for the kids because they only have a few years to play and should be able to find opportunity wherever they can... but it sucks to not be able to see continuity. That was one of the coolest things about CFB for me was watching the development of players, and seeing how long term chemistry on a team added to their success.
Why does NIL bug you? Its really not any different from what was going on before with the big schools still having the same advantages. The kids are just getting paid close to their worth now.
