I am a high school student, trying to conduct a servery for engineering class. Please answer the questions, and if u dont want to plz ignore it and respect it. Thank you so much in advance.

Alternative Surfboard Leash Strap

How many times can you remember when you were out surfing and just as you hit a big wave the water moves your leash around and the rope extending from it gets tangled in between your legs? Isn’t it annoying and unsafe? Wouldn’t you appreciate and innovation that would solve this problem? Well, welcome to our idea. We have decided to create an additional strap, that will be attached to the leash strap, and will extend from the foot to the leash strap and secure the leash strap in place. It provides you with a tangled free surfing experience. Please complete our survey below.

DUDE! Like totally! The first time I surfed Pipe with Turtle and Alex Rodgers and Occy. I went for the big set. I thought Alex Rodgers told me to go, but it was too big. Anyway I got pitched by the lip when my leash tangled me up,

Like hello? McFly? Who wouldn't of appriciated that totaly gnarly sick kill sweet invention? I mean later that season I was surfing in the Pipeline Classic. I made the final of the main event! Anyway this jackass named Lance Burkhart and I were paddling for this set. Even Chandler told him to get his own damn wave.

I totally had the inside track and Burkhart pulled on my leash and deliberately caused me to fall! BURKHART YOU BASTARD!!!!

But anyways, he and I know who really won out there.

So let me get this straight, you're gonna keep your leash from getting tangled by attaching another leash to it? It's unpossible. All you would be doing is shortening the effective length of your leash. If I wanted to do that, I'd just tie a big knot in my leash for free, and spend my $20 on something else, like a lap dance.

omg...just do the damn survery plzz :biggrin:. btw the reason y i am doing this in engineering is that we had to come up with a solution to a problem...my friend, a surfer, came up with this idea. its just a stupid invention...but u guys would be doing me a big favor if u would just do the survey.

and if u dont understand the project...then i will try to explain again...we are creating a additional strap that will attach to ur leash (the leash that is on ur ankle). the strap will be attached on the left side of ur leash, go under ur foot and attach to the right side...this way it's suppose to secure the leash around ur ankle down and the leash shouldnt move around (hence to rope on the leash wont move inbetween ur legs cuz the leash is secured by the strap). if u dont think it will work...then answer the survery and answer that question no...just please do the survey. *on my knees begging* ty. ;)

btw, guy that made pervious post, to answer ur first question that cant happen cuz that leash is attached on the leash around that one ankle. its secured in place...

can u post a pic of u 2? *lol* and how did u find are msg bored? this is like a sekret spot or somthing were only u and ur closest friends can go surfing.
