The App is failing on my phone.
It decided to change my settings on its own. When I try to open the settings, it dies.
I have deleted the app a couple of times, but the new downloads fail as quickly.
I cannot turn off the previews or get back to nite mode.
I’m sure I will find more problems.

It works fine on mine with the update, I just checked and changed a few settings. I have an iPhone SE.
They have this cool app. It’s called a web browser.
You can do the entire interwebs on it.

On my iPad , the iOS 16 update has nicely fucked up TRGz via Safari. I’m not a mouth breather on tapatalk…I use the desktop version of tgr, but now the formatting is weird and has a wide white column on the right.
Of course all other websites work great still.
It may be a benefit that it crashes every time I try to navigate, or open a folder, other than the top section tabs.
Losing all access to polyass will likely improve my days.
Interesting that it just kills the display. The app is still running in the background.
It has gotten really weird.

I've passed the concerns on to the people who might be able to do something.
Thanks Danno for doing that. My phone is charging in another room, so I grabbed my iPad & quickly remembered how jacked up it is now to view TGR pages.
As you can see in the screenshot, the headers lie on top of each other, there is no Login button, and the right hand side now has a blank vertical column that seems to be forcing the weirdly squished formattingAttachment 438198
So I guess we just sorta give up on this? Maybe Apple incompatibility is a strategy to get us to buy Android devices or something. ;). Or stop wasting our time on TGR.Quote:

For example, when replying to a post using the adult version, all functions (adding pics etc) are right there. The tapatalk uses the big ass font (great for 7 yr olds learning to read!) and makes me click on ‘go advanced’ to do anything remotely useful in my replies. Not to mention there’s actually interesting stuff in the full version you can’t see in tapatalk.
App has almost no functionality besides reading and basic reply. Cannot even start new thread. Sucks the ballz

Tapatalk is stoopid. I just want to get normal formatting on iPad Safari again like I’ve had for the last 100 yrs. TGR is literally the only site on the internet that’s incompatible with iOS 16 and safari. Fucking irritating.

TGR apparently decided that since only 425 million iPads have been sold to date, it made sense to abandon those users after iOS 16 by leaving the formatting of the full site fucked.Quote:

There are 2 workarounds. You can reload to force a switch to the low functionality ‘TGR for kids’ version, log in, then switch to the full site. PIA.
Or you can ‘reply with quote’ to any existing post, which brings up the log in query boxes, log in, and then erase the quoted portion.
Would be cool if TGR didn’t abandon iPhone users after already abandoning iPad users.

Go to Tapatalk app and it posts just fine
I use the TRG app as well, and have always had that message pop up. No problem (I think) just passing through and hitting reply with the photo. iPhone 7plus on iOS 15.whatever.Quote:

Edit: it still crashes if I attempt to Show Spoiler when there is a photo included. But it has been doing that for years.
