I was thinking about asking the same question. Is it me. Or something everyone is experiencing?
Intermittently slow to load a new or refreshed page. I almost exclusively just hit the new posts button.
It’s not anything on my end. As I can breeze through other websites while waiting for TGR to load
And again it’s only sometimes. Like right now

It's very slow on Tapatalk, but seems normal on a desktop computer.

Looks like there an issue in loading/resolving one of the partner services.
Issue here too. Clicking between forum categories takes a while (30 seconds?) to load. But then sometimes its normal and fast. Running an add blocker so possibly not adds?

there is a TGR-specific app that (I think) uses the tapatalk platform. Many of us still use it, and I think there is a link somewhere to it, but it's no longer in the app/play stores.Quote:

Been having issues this past week where the desktop site would be a blank white page for ~20 seconds, and then load all at once.
Two things are happening, as far as I can tell: The videos hosted on Ooyala are taking 20 seconds (slow server response time), AND it looks like they get loaded before everything else.
In case other folks are having this problem, two things might help:
- Fix the Ooyala integration (probably their fault?)
- Code the site to load Ooyala last, so that the forum loads first. (example: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...o-element-last)
Are the other people experiencing it using Safari? I normally do but am on Chrome now and it's working fine for now at least.
