What does he really love you for?
Your leopard skinned pill box hat
The pill box hat is brand new
Your new boyfriend loves you for your pillbox hat, not Dylan. Dylan’s out in the cold.

Tears
(That's an obscure one, KQ. I only remember it because it's the first line of the song)

The Parsons thing is questionable
Hmm, about 5 or 6 years ago, maybe more, I read some article about the origins of the song. Some female folksinger had wrote it and there was documented proof that Parsons had watched one of her shows. There was a lawsuit which was settled, and he paid her some non-disclosed amount.
Now when I search for that, I’m drawing a blank. So who knows. I’ll update if I find something on it later. Just did a cursory search so far.

The blind folk singer was Sylvia Sammons. According to wiki, her account is now in doubt, complicated by the fact that a different Sylvia Sammons is claiming the same thing in a different state. Weird.
