The prop position sensor is integral to performance.
Tech Talk JONG
Ask TGR JONG.
No, ask TGR in the Admin forum or whatever the hell that is..... Oh, never mind. :)
and a door stop
One of the more overlooked attributes of a box fan isn't how powerful it is, but how un-powerful and quiet its lowest setting is. You know, for when you want to keep some air moving, but don't want to listen to much fan noise.
They used to have a J1 visa employee waving palm fronds on the server.
But COVID and shit.
So yeah we need a better box fan.
I think the solution might be a bungee cord strapped to the box fan handle and the door handle to prevent it falling over again.
I feel bad for the poor thing, probably whirring away all night, fanning the shit out of 2 square feet of PBR-stained carpet while the server 2 feet away self-immolates until new Andrew comes in and finds it today.
Where can I send a check? I'll pay to have air conditioning installed in the server room. My husband has been pacing around the house like a caged animal jonesing for the dopamine rush he gets from posting here incessantly. I can't take it any longer!
lol
the red one
I’m a huge fan of box.
I love’em all.

I think the typical cooling is done by the office dogs wagging their tails.
but it’s like 81* here today so they must have slowed down.
I’ll swing by and “who’s a good dog” em. should help
Is this an appropriate place to tell someone down at HQ that there are no more buttons for images, font, links, etc in the reply boxes?
If not I'll post it in Bullfighting.
Like a turnspit dog? https://media.npr.org/assets/img/201...-s1000-c85.jpg
somehow, Bmills has a working paragraph returns at least, I see...so he's got that going for him, which is nice[there's supposed to be a paragraph return btwn those ^^^ phrases & babybear's quote function is working...mine is not]
Mine isn't either.
on the iphone app the functions are there but I don’t see them either when logging in on the desktop
Thanks Baby Bear!
Quote function isn't working either, otherwise I would have quoted for appreciation's sake AC's "so he's got that going for him, which is nice"
It's Caddyshack's 40th anniversary this month btw. We should all do something to celebrate. Like get laid.
There could be a bright future for anyone pursing that kind of career. We've got to keep that closet cool like the Egyptian Kings. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/fa/a9...f989a84454.jpg
I have always heard them called muffin fans,
mostly they seized due to lack of lubrication
some oil will get them spinning
the best ones were the kind that stayed running
Congratulations to New Andrew, or whoever his replacement is, for propping the box fan back up today.
Job well done.

I thought it was the sheer power emanating from fastactin's rad new tattoo that overwhelmed the server's circuitry. Power overload! How can one server contain such awesomness without at least TWO box fans? Good job saving the day, new Andrew.

Classic TGR, awarding a meager last-minute cleanup at a yard sale.

The box fan became self-aware and has left Wilson.

It seemed to be a while before anyone realized it and got over there. Are the roads snowy today?
Lunch beers came early.
The best box fans are the ones that stay running, they are sealed/ posed to run foreva but sometimes they sieze/ get hot, I usually had a spare but it might not be the right model in which case unseal/ lube/ fix to get the puter running and order the new fan for next time
I'm a fan of box
