Yeah...um. So the old Rogan forum had a kinda upvote downvote thing on posts....so you accumulated a rating. And if you consistently sucked, your name turned pink....then if you were a real professional at sucking you eventually get confined to only being able post in the tardbin....which was a little like our asshattery subforum. Sometimes it was fun to cruise the tardbin, because all the uncontrollable spastics were in there savaging each other, but the main forum was much better for it. And it’s funny to see the ratings snd thd pink usernames...etc.
It was a good system, and we could benefit from copying it.
Step one might be to go to a MUCH better forum hosting platform, like the one Ridemonkey uses.
Images copy easily, links don’t need html tags, everything about it is a more positive user experience. I don’t know what platform it is, I’ll look into it.
Ok, it is XenForo.
Moving to this platform would be like moving to DPS skis coming from clapped out k2 parabolics.
It’s THAT much better.

This is a great idea. It should be a little box you check to allow yourself that ability. And when you check it your username is automatically added to everyone else's ignore list (and the lurkers) unless they take you off ignore (and log in, in the case of lurkers).Quote:

Hey all, there’s no buttons on the reply box (advanced or quick reply) on the desktop site for text, font, pics, links, etc...
Just though you should know
apparently it’s being worked on so will keep you all posted.
But for now no quotes etc- it’s just basic text on the web/desktop version.
