$91 so you can spin a crank? Why not just thread in a pedal?

That's sort of the equivalent of the Park Tool TP-2 (toilet paper holder). I forget how much those things cost, but they weren't cheap.
You don't buy it because it's logical. You buy it because you want it, and you want people to know you have it.
Our shop use to put plastic pedals on all our floor models. We bought a closeout case (1000?) of cheap plastic pedals for $0.82/ pair wholesale.
Never really use that tool to build/tune a new bike, just slapped a pair of pedals on the bikes.
Next product: for a mere $199, you can view your tire pressure in real time on a smart phone:

That pedal spinner is ridiculous....who is buying that?
Honestly, those tools are super helpful. I helped manage a demo fleet for our employees last year, ~40 high end road and MTB's. We did not have any pedals for the demos (helped weed out the beaters) but whenever the bikes needed to be checked in and ran through, I used the park version of that. Its great, faster to install than a pedal, more ergonomic for turning the cranks, actually one of those tools you never thought you'd need until you had one.
$13 bucks? Pretty sweet deal compared to the Enduro version!

Good to know. Though, I rarely tune my drivetrain except out on the trail when its acting up. And If I did do it at home, I don't see pulling the pedals first. Seems very New-Build or Demo-Fleet specific in its utility.

Is it just me, or do other people think that the $150 i9 thru bolt tool thing is ridiculous? It would make more sense to me if it was just a regular thru bolt with anodized colors and no tool.
Yeah, all of these hidden mount trail tools are junk. What if you need that tool to readjust your front disc caliper? And the one that requires a special tool to tap the headset? WTF? So dumb.
FFS, just get a little tool bag that can strap onto your frame, or throw a tool in a pocket. It's not that hard boys and girls!
I've got one (I got it for free, I didn't pay $150) and it's nice to have, but it's a chore to use and so I can probably count the number of times I've used it on one hand. Even when I need it, I usually just take my multi-tool out of my pack because it's easier and has what I need.
I'm also 99% sure they stopped making them, since they didn't sell that many.
Park DP-1 is friction fit, works for either side
Here's another: from Topeak, $59.95 to hang your bike from the front wheel:

Or accomplish the same at Harbor Freight for $1.99:

yeah i'm a harbour freight kinda guy
I think I would just turn a crank with my hand or stick a pencil or a piece of wood or even a screwdriver thru the hole
Anyone remember the (if I remember correctly) $300 Campy corkscrew?
Yup, that was it
Im gonna have to disagree with you on the OneUp EDC tool. While yes, you do have to either tap your steerer or buy their special stem, it’s pretty clutch to always have a nice multi tool hiding in your steerer but quickly accessible. It’s a surprisingly good multitool, with a lot of functions, a tire lever, chain tool, quick links, and room for plugs and a few other odds and ends. I do think the other hidden bike tools suck, but the OneUp is actually pretty rad.
Gold plated patch kit, among other items. $360 MSRP!

OneUp EDC + OneUp pump FTW
Gonna also chime in about the EDC steerer tool. It's the shit. There is a freedom from being able to do a 20 mile MTB ride without a backpack.
EDC thing looks cool, but this:
Attachment 328321
is on each of our 6 bikes with tools and a tube specific to the bike.
Under seat bags and other bags have only been around for over 100 years, this really doesn’t improve anything.
If it was inside the bottom bracket, that would be cool, because it would put the mass at the lowest part of the bike. Otherwise why would I throw out my perfectly good tools?
