I'm heading to China for a month of work. First time there, and need to download a VPN before I go.
I just need to be able to use my gmail, and would be nice to keep up on social media and TGR.
Willing to pay if I know its decent software. I'm not overly tech savvy, I get most, but not a computer nerd.
Running a MacBook Pro w Catalina 10.15.2
Looking for recommendations, googling provides billions of results and its hard to decipher what's advertising and what's good reviews.

^^ PIA (Private Internet Access) has been fine for me and worked perfect in China in 2016. Consider getting a Protonmail email account, it's free and end-to-end encrypted
