That didn't take long.
I find this whole thing hilarious, by the way.
Oh my gosh!!! That was Totally- Totally crazy! Two minutes of my life I'll never get back.
Really pretty gay. I've got a video of paint drying...wanna watch it?? Huh, do ya!!??
james carville is funny lookin.
I thought it was kind of funny. Good example of a cranky old man. You see people on those shows say much worse things to each other and keep going. I wonder why that seemingly benign little comment really got under his skin.
I think Carville made him do it. Man that guy is wierd looking, annoying AND he never shuts the fuck up.
I don't think any one comment got to the guy it's just the fact the talking lima bean wouldn't shut the fuck up to let him make his point. The point of these shows is supposed to be letting two guys express contrasting views, not watch two grade sixers shout over each other to prove their view is more important. That's why I don't watch those shows they just digress into two guys talking loud over one another and ignoring the other guy. I also have a very low tolerance for people who think talking louder or more incesstantly makes them more right.Quote:

Who was the quarterback guy who went at the interviewer on live TV? Was it Jim Everett?
fuck off, you limey bastard. Stay in your own country's forums.
Yours are so much worthier of ridicule.
Jon Stewart ripping on Novak on the Daily Show was great.
shut up! I'm talkin' heya.
I fully agree.Quote:

Did you mean Chris Everett?Quote:

Yeah it was Jim Everett, he went off on Jim Rome because Rome kept calling him "Chrissy" even after Everett warned him to stop.Quote:

These "news" shows are meant to be rude shoutfests... which is why I don't watch them except as clips on the Daily Show. ;)
You're kidding, right? Because his "friends" in the administration "asked" him to! He's a tool, not just of the Bushies, but in general. Honestly one of the shittiest "journalists" out there.Quote:

Does anyone else find it sad that a show on comedy central is far and away the best source Cable TV news. I used to want to be a journalist, Now I just want to work construction in the summers and ski all winter.
Jon Stewart is probably the smartest host on TV right now. I know that's not saying much, but I think (and hope) the Daily Show will have a big influence on the 2006 and '08 elections.
I've thought about making a "Stewart for President" bumper sticker, just to try and wake some people up.
Think it would sell?
IMO, Jim Lehrer (of the Lehrer News Hour on PBS) is the most savy news person in the country hands down, but JS is great, no doubt. At least JS, through humor, connects with a younger, and larger, auidence.Quote:

I'm away from home for work for a long while, and the local cable providers don't carry comedy central. I'd hook that bitch up with satellite, but it's a hotel room so it's not really an option.
I'd stretch and try and tough it out; but october seems so far away and you fuckers recapping like this shit in this here thread doesn't help at all.
Woah... this makes me think that if Novak has been on Crossfire when John Stewart laid the smack down, Stewart would have made Novack run off stage in tears.
Yeah but James Carville's rant was the stuff Stewart complains about - petty partisan accusations that get ratings but also get away from the real issue. Sure it was an amusing comment, but also hypocritical because "trying to show you have a backbone" applies to both parties.Quote:

Not really, I say.Quote:

Ummm... that was Jim Rome, in 1994 - before he became famous (or infamous, depending on how you look at it.)Quote:
