I found it hard to but Reinhold's "all 14 8000m peaks" down. Some intense stories in there. Jam packed action crammed into one book. Rock moves bare handed above 25000 ft with fingers sticking to rock, solo climbing out of crevasses after falling , on and on. Quick read

Potter. I've met a few of these gods/goddesses, but he's the only one I actually called a friend. Still think about him quite often. RIP Dean.

Ondra is greatness in real time.
Fritz, for so many reasons, but he would have been the first person to get up K2 if he wasn't a team player. His rock line is still unclimbed to this day, I think.
Hugh Herr
wunsch just passed away, put him in the hall.
Fred Beckey is at least the patron saint of dirtbags.
Maybe not the biggest, boldest, strongest, or most gracious, but definitely the most persistent.

Fun story:
One of my dad's best friends took Lynn Hill climbing for the first time. If I recall the story correctly, he was close friends with her older brother. They took her out to Mount Roubidoux and she showed them up on this 5.9 they'd been working on. IIRC, she was a gymnast and took to climbing like a duck to water.

How did we make it to page 2 without Tommy Caldwell being mentioned?
