Happy Thanksgiving!
Where are you all spending thanksgiving this year?
My family will be at four seasons Aspen if any maggot friends would like to eat with a new user
I successfully kicked off my annual month long bender last night; HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Please don't say anything about McDonald's...
I'm gonna rub mine latter.
Turkey, that is.
I suppose you're right- it does consist of some valuable training for the summits!
Much to be thankful for, mom had a heart attack last week and suffered loss of much of her kidney function.
Long story short she is much better and after a cath procedure and the kidneys rebounding she is back home today.
Glad she made through the heart attack, scottyb.
Wishing her constant improvement.
Yup, wishing your mom a speedy recovery Scotty and the very best of the remainder of the year to all the maggots. For Christmas, all I want is a 5 foot dump and cold temps at Mammoth. Pleez baby jesus. I was good this year.
I'm thankful for my second bourbon and nog of the evening. Two more of these, a quick check to see if the wife, dog and son are asleep and I'm heading to the local dive.
I heard they hung all the Christmas lights today including decorating the cigarette machine. Tinsel too. I'm in the fucking spirit.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Sounds like you are having a swell night, BmillsSkier.
I'm still in search to find eggnog shots in greater NYC area.
Happy drinking and happy thanksgiving!
Glad your mom's doing better. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
We are doing all-pie, no-extended-family Thanksgiving at our house this year. I knocked my wife up again, so I will have to drink for two. If this snow keeps up, there will be sledding in the street with the kid and dogs. The turkey trot is getting slated in the morning.
If there are any legit ski bums on this forum any more, our door is open if you don't have plans. Drop me a pm.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Spending a quiet day with no family drama tomorrow.
Picked up something for dinner at JH Whole Grocer after getting fitted with new Tecnica Mach 1s today. Have a fire going now in the wood stove.
Hmmmm. No egg nog in the house, but I do believe I have a nice bottle of Balvenie. I think I'll go pour myself a scotch.
Indeed.
Down to the parents. Dad is 85. He skied last year. I will make some turns with him this year.
merry thanksgiving mags, may your winter be filled with face shots and joy. Or Joys face shots.... what ever your into
24 hrs of intl travel got me home no problemo by lunchtime today. Looking fwd to a mellow feast with neighborhood friends. Tryptophan combats jet lag right?

Having our new traditions (none of us likes turkey). Fesenjan Ba Ordak (Persian Pomegranite Walnut stew with Duck) and Keshmesh Polow (Persian raisin saffron rice) paired with a nice Sonoma County Primitivo from Wilson.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the mags and maggettes that make up this asylum.
Eight miles into my pre turkey dinner and pie over indulgence, it's all down hill from here.

The last two miles then the 22oz IPA'S get opened followed by good California red wines

Twelve miles should just about even out the IPA'S, right?
Happy Thanksgiving ya filthy animals.
I feel that every Thanksgiving Less Nessman is cringing in a corner some where.
Oh the humanity!

Thanks to TGR and all the posters that made it the best ski board ever.
I figured this image had to be on a TGR thanksgiving thread(it's a pumpkin crapping pumpkin pies):

Ha! I was on my way to this very thread with this very song copied and ready to paste, but I was betting I'd find some other folks already here on the Group W bench.
So, I'll just add this to the Thanksgiving bounty:
