Is anyone here going to ISSW this fall?
no :( some of my current work stuff is going with a colleague.
Probably not. As a hobby patroller the tuition would be better spent on some of the youngsters.
I'll report back for all you hobby 'trollers and "meeting haters," Bunion.
I knew I could count on you.
Cmon up to Boz this fall. We usually do a pre-season SWMT-SAW that you would probably enjoy.
The Big Sky & BB patrols along with folks from the other areas scattered round the State.
Some of the speakers sort of know their subjects. You could be one if you are interested.
We'll be there seeing as we live 15 minutes away.
Sounds good. Anyone else from SCSAR?
I'll prolly go, but no SAR affiliation in SC
I will be there with bells on. Have a poster on the last day too.
My poster is on the 6th.
Bunion, did you get my email?
Yes, I had the wrong address. Just sent it to you again.
Hmmmm, never appeared in my inbox or Junk.
Hummmm?
Where is it this year and when, Hacksaw?
Looking forward to nerding out in Breck.
I had signed up to get a memory stick of the papers/posters. But, when they were put out folks grabbed handfuls and needless to say I never got one. Does anyone have a link to the on-line for the papers/posters, etc....?
Summit, I don't have the ISSW App. And how would you print a hard copy from such a thing?
Thanks on the Congrats.
I assume the papers will eventually appear here, does anyone know when this will happen? (is it more like "should be up already" or more like "in a year, maybe"?)

Summit, does that google docs folder still exist? care to share?
Flight just booked for this fall’s conference in Innsbruck. Registration was done a while ago. Flying into Milan Thursday prior, and intending to adjust to the time zone while exploring the Italian alps. Maybe some Via Farattas in Marmolada area, the site of one of the worst avalanche events, White Friday. Maybe up to Lagazuoi and the tunnels.
Plus a ski race? Who's gonna have bikes with?
I am leaving after the conference open for skiing or whatever comes up. Liking the via faratta idea as the equipment required is easier to travel with than a bike, and it is something a little different for me and looks exciting. Might rent a motorcycle for a day if the weather looks good. I can always rent a mountain bike and just bring my own shorts
Not this year. First one I will miss since my first in 1996 in Banff. Too much other stuff going on. If you're a TAR subscriber you know.
And if you're a TAR subscriber and going to ISSW, bring me back some observations (Summit- talking to you among others) about what seemed important, what were people talking about.
Anyone going to CSAW this october? I've never been before, sounds cool but wondering if it is worth it?
Summit did you get my email?
