What do you mean? It is a tourism promotional video. I still own real estate 3 blocks from that ice cream place so yes, it is the coolest place ever!
I saw hot dog stands and ice cream stands in that video, but no lemonade stands. Better stay back east...
Citizens of Denver...

Ha. Might be that old guy riding the chair with you. Never know.
Denver is a lot nicer than it was 10-15 years ago.
The microbrew scene in Denver is saturated. I expect a crash in the next couple years as people start to come to terms with the fact that they really don't like beer.
I haven't had a beer in 2+ years. It doesn't make me feel good. One by one, several of my beer drinking friends have also stopped drinking beer.
^^^ brains over beer.
Denver is the new Portland
You are a real trend-setter! I'm sure the last few centuries have just been a fad.
Denver is a great town now. I moved there 20 years ago and it sucked and I moved away, but now when I visit, there's all kinds of stuff to do. Tons of good breweries and restaurants, I rarely go to the same one twice. Would never move there again, but visiting is good.
Denver, the Greeley of big cities.
It caught me pretty off guard during normal conversation, but still to this day, and I think it is actually pretty true…
"Is Colorado a pretty diverse place?"
"Yeah, as long as you're white."
And it's true - there is a huge diversity of white people there. If that doesn't make sense to you, you haven't lived in Colorado, or maybe have only lived in one place in CO.
Maybe Denver does suck, because the microbrew scene nationwide seems to have shifted away from overhopping everything at least a year ago. Breweries in the PNW are churning out delicious European styles that absolutely have hundreds of years of history behind them. Are you guys really that far behind the curve along the front range?
And lets not forget the centuries year old history of IPA. But by all means, you live in Denver, so you are clearly too cool for beer. What's the trendy drink in Broulder and Denver these days, gluten free fermented anal gland secretions with a twist of blood orange?
I'll take legal weed over diversity anyday.
Don't hate us for being white, beautiful, and stoned.
At least you can look down on SLC and Boise when that diversity thing pops up.
Funny comment up there somewhere. "Most diverse collection of white people." That's a riot. New York City laughs.
Not even one Casa Bonita reference?
We got lots of Latinos. And good eats. Oh, and we got a free country here.

hipster.....overload
Skylark Lounge? Gimme a fucking break, that place was empty as fuck most nights and full of some pretty boring douches (myself included). I lived a couple blocks from there.... that South Broadway zone is hipster central, but in a wannabe kind of way.
Denver is full of so many Midwest transplants that want to try soooo hard to not seem like they're from the Midwest. It seems like they either choose the hipster route or go full on nuts with trying to be a pretend mountain person. So many of the Front Rangers are gear junkies, slap a few stickers on your car & water bottle type people who, in reality, only go skiing 10 days a year and camp a couple holiday weekends over the summer.
On the good side, it's waaaay better than most other large cities, but it's still a city that seems to be trying too hard.
Denver has a great old school rap station with no commercials, that's better than hot 97 in NY
I missed this scene in the promo

Flights at Great Divide make for a great evening.
That video doesn't even mention the amazing Renaissance around and in Union Station. That part of LoDo is fucking cool now and I love some of the new architecture around town (new train station, museum lofts, Taxi buildings).
Oh, yes you do... I thought you were moving to Scummit? You're gonna fit right in here. When you go to the Rockies games, be sure to cheer super loud when they get to the part in the song where all the Denverites scream "FROM THE MOUNTAINS"..
I hear Lakewood is nice...
