"Pretty Faces" - An all girls ski movie from Lynsey Dyer & Unicorn Picnic Productions

/I'd like to share this with everyone on TGR on behalf of all of us girls out there. On a personal note I'd like to thank Lynsey for putting this together, and for all the work she has done over the years tirelessly endeavoring to get more girls out their jumping. I am so proud of what you have created!

Jackson Hole, WY (November 8th, 2012) – Unicorn Picnic Productions, proudly releases the trailer for its all female 2013 feature ski film, “Pretty Faces.” The all encompassing action packed trailer is available to view now at http://unicornpicnic.com/ or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdoFO9bzGBM



Pretty faces is an all female ski film featuring the best athletes from around the world in celebration of playing outside, pushing the sport and living up to our fullest potential as a supportive community. Inspired by the desire to offer young girls role models and inspiration to play outside, this film aims to capture all the girl stoke from the pioneers who have paved the way to the “never-evers” who will continue to define what it means to ski like a girl.

Thanks for posting... I will be showing this to my 14yo daughter for some fun motivation. Great looking stuff no matter what gender.

Also, had no idea GoNads is a woman, but great name. Certainly well deserved!

Good stuff, my daughter looks up to some of the athletes in this film.

Awesome, when do we get to see it?

Unfortunately fall next year, but it'll be worth the wait. Lynsey is going to do a full length movie, and she is pretty much a one woman machine! I'm betting she had a ton of footage from all of us to go through. I'm pretty darn impressed with her editing for the teaser though, feels like I've watched it 100 times over. You're in the same boat as the riders, but one more year means another year of also getting footage and bagging more lines! :)

Cool trailer. Good to see the women don't take themselves as serious as the men. Will be looking for the flick

Bahaha, no that's the lovely miss Tatum Monod throwing the double back. Suz has a pretty big backflip in there too. I'm beyond stoked about this project.. lost track of how many times I've seen the teaser already haha.

This is awesome. I emailed links to my g/f and all my female and male ski friends. This vid looks like a stunner regardless of gender, but still major props to UnicornPicnic, Lynsey, and all the girls involved for putting this together.

I was lucky enough to work with Lynsey on this project thus far (in a very minor supporting roll). I can definitively say this project is coming from a very true, honest and selfless place. Incredible how much work she's put in for no other reason than to get the message heard.

So excited her vision isn't just being realized but garnering a ton of interest. She's stoked...and all the girls in this thing CRUSH IT. "Ski like a girl" officially has a new meaning...

Looking forward to this. Premature to say, but I think my girls may have found their Blizzard of Ahhhs.

I am not jumping on the bandwagon. They are girls, that is awesome, but is it going to be really different from any other ski movie released in recent years? After watching the trailer, I do not think so. And to compare it to Blizzard of Ahhhs ...
It has not been released, but it looks like just another generic ski 'movie'. I am bored of 'stoke' inducing segments coupled with music that is doing my head in. No story there.

The biggest difference is that instead of ripping chicks being in 10% of the movie, they will be in 100%. And what I got from the previous post wasn't taking anything away from Blizzard, but that for this next generation, of girls, seeing Pretty Faces might amp their stoke meter like Blizzard did for us.

If i were in the chica's boots, it would be really frustrating that ski films feature almost all dudes, that ski comps focus on the men with higher purses, more coverage, etc, etc. Sure, that's not likely to change any day soon, so in my opinion a film like this that showcases how the ladies are crushing it is awesome. It is going to add a whole new meaning to 'ski like a girl'.

This looks pretty awesome and some high quality skiing for sure.

But would it be too much to ask to see some of these hot ripping skiers throw down the big lines and then take off the helmets and totally go for the lip lock?

No doubt the level of skiing in the trailer is sick! Love the energy of all the girls shown, it is beautiful and powerful at the same time.

The full length should be called, 'Pretty faces, hot bodies, and huuuudddggge balls!'. Great trailer.

Huge backy is Suz, double back is Tatum, and pretty sure fronty is Rachel Burks.
