Looks cool, but dimensions/cubic inch capacity of those bags would be good info to have, it's cool the way the image gets bigger when you pass the cursor over it - caught me by surprise the first time!

I'm loading in the dimension information RIGHT NOW. Thanks!
we are just full of surprises, and hopefully more to come soon! :cool:Quote:
tap -- yeah I noticed that too...it's not really the glove page it takes you too, but the actual 'store' page...scroll down and you'll see what I mean.
no, it just takes you to the "checkout" thingy and the glove is the first in the checkout line.Quote:

i love the chopper action on the logo when you load the page
I just bought a dakine dually bag that was almost twice as much as that ski bag. Sure wish I had waited.
Call DaKine and ask for a refund, then order our bag. Take the money you saved and buy yourself something pretty.Quote:

I guarantee this bag is just as nice as that one. I've seen that DaKine - it's a nice bag, but way overpriced.
I already have the damn thing - I ordered it through my local shop, I don't think I can take it back. I'll call and see.
btw - can't you make your sig clickable?
Jeez Twoplanker, you are fast with the modifications and clicking the links. Nice work. Now, if I just knew how big those bags were so I could decide which one I will buy.........
I know, I know, patience.
AJ's bags are so freakin tough it's unreal. 2P will have dimension and volume info up in a few minutes. The core of our product philosophy is that this gear is maggot tried and tested. I've been raving about my Sportster duffle for years. It holds everything for a ski trip here or across the ponds. What I love is that you can drop boots into the end pockets of that duffle. The stuff is freakin indestructible. And the price............................................a sk ice.
The backback they have too is bomber, I rode mine like a sled down a patch of manmade two years ago that was about 2,500 feet long, I was going waaayyy to fast and had no control, but fun as hell. It blended my buddies carharts together on his ass, and heated up the rivets, but no damage to the bag. Durable stuff.
Is there going to be a 4 pair ski bag in the mix? I've been looking at Glissade Ski Bag's 4 pair. It looks pretty good but spendy. (http://www.glissade.com/)
OK guys, your feedback on the site is invaluable. Thanks, and please don't hesitate to set me straight. [edit: not being sarcastic here - I really appreciate and need your feedback]
I've added detailed product descriptions to all the bags. In addition to the technical specs, there is now some flowery language to help you visualize the purpose and intent of the bags. You'll also find the bags' dimensions and volume in inches.
wasn't there a back pack that you designed last year?
post some info.
Hey man, that ski bag only holds up to 200s. When's the DH version coming out??? :D
The pack which you are referring to incorporates an avalanche shovel. Our standards for all the gear we carry are high, but for safety equipment, nothing less than perfect will do. We're still in the process of testing and refining this product. If and when it meets our standards, you'll be the first to know, as always.Quote:

A 4 pair bag would be the shizz!
Also can somebody give a link to inside the front page. Facking work computer won't do flash so I can't get in from here, and I'd hate to have to surf on MY time! :D

AAAAARRRRGGHGGH
Lost a day of skiing somewhere and already had to ductape the DaKine bag up
2P: keep the good work coming, I'm waiting on the gauntlet gloves...
The gauntlets should be arriving soon.
Also, we've got more gear on the way - gear that you have not seen before but that you will realize you must have because it is so trick! If it survives our brutal testing process (all indications are that it will, in a big way) then the Maggots will be first to know.
Stay tuned!!!
Pmgear gang....you got mail @ info@pmgear etc
Here ya go Dave, try this.

Glad you guys like the site. 2P is THE MAN!! Sure are glad he is on our team.
A four pair bag sounds interesting. It would might exceed airline weight limits if you actually put 4 skis in there.
Nice ski bag. Tempting. The Dakine is way overpriced given that you can also get a Rossignol padded double bag for $65 at Reliable Racing. That bag, though cheaper, is made of a 840D instead of 1200D (for the PMGear bag) but it also has some nice features.
Are you guys going to make a bag like this (an expensive example but you get the idea)? Maybe not that big, but with dual compartments, solid and duffel?
drC
Does that Rossi bag come with a razor knife so I can cut the end off to fit my 195 B3s ? And maybe a roll of duct tape for the possibility of rips that won't occur with 1200 denier? Also, it's kind of an apples and oranges comparison - our ski bag rolls.
Point is, we're focused on gear we know will last.
PS - AJ is currently in the maggotfication chamber undergoing maggotization and will be coming along soon.
Yeah, I know I'm going to blow the weight limits. I don't really care. I'll pay the extra to have my gear there. Didn't they just drop the limits recently?
last i checked it was 75lbs. but i have had check in people give me a hard time when i have stuffed more than 2 pairs into my bag even when it was under 75. they said for skis no more than 2 pair per person. in the end they let me go, but not without a fight.Quote:

i think if you tell them you are competing they won't charge you the extra money. ;)
Yeah, down around 50lbs a bag, i think. That's one of the reasons I love my Sportster, it comes in almost right on the money every time, even with my boots in it. But there's been times, with no rollers on a 2 ski bag, a backpack, and the Sportster, that I have wished I had wheels. Like when I gotta lug it all across a long airport or parking garage. Swear I've shrunk a few inches a couple times doing the Quasimoto shuffle.Quote:

I'm all about wheels now.
Spat, there are many ways to show that your products are good, and one of them is to knock off everything else in sight. That is not the right way. If you're defensive every time someone compare your products to something else (and as a matter of fact I mentionned the difference in deniers as an explanation for the Rossi bag being cheaper) you're going to do PMGear a great disservice.
Your bag has some great pluses, theirs has some too, like for example the fact that they use real buckles and not velcro for the straps. Focus on your pluses, and if you've got the best gear your business will flourish. No need to attack everything else without substantiation.
Just my $0.02 (towards a PMGear bag, likely).

ordered: one sportster
Dr. C,
I can totally understand your point and actually I agree.
Splat is just so damned excited about this stuff. I don't know how well you know him (outside this board), but he is one of the most positive, upbeat people you would ever want to meet. That being said, when he finds something he likes and he gets excited, he can get a little carried away. ;)

I've met him at the Hood on July 4 and liked him a lot. Which is why I care about him not letting his enthusiasm get in the way of being successful.Quote:

It's cool to see you guys getting into this venture and getting the positive vibe you're getting in the community. I wish you a great success.

I'll make no excuses for standing up for something I believe in, Dr(s). A less rigorously constructed product with a lower price point that won't pack a long pair of boards simply doesn't cut it for me.
That and the fact I hate buying any product that won't endure. But besides my emphaticism about product quality, Dr. Crash, I think you know my positive mental altitude also endures. :D
Bump for the sweetness that is PMGear.
I just got my ski bag and that has to be the baddest, burliest, ski bag I've ever seen. Not to mention the thing is huge. No problems fitting 2 pairs of skis, prolly no problem fitting 3. Nice work guys.
splat - thanks for getting the gloves to me before you probably even got the ones i sent back to you. that's service!
Thanks again!
I brought my new gloves along for bootpacking in Silverton as an extra. A friend that wsa along with us was wearing spring gloves, and continually was resting his hands in the snow, and by mid-day they were wet, this wasn't too bad until the wind moved in, the temp dropped, and it started snowing.
I dug my gloves out and traded him for his wet pair, although they were too big, he was warm and dry for the rest of the day. You'll have another customer shortly.:)
Love to hear the real time reporting, guys. We really would appreciate it if you guys and everyone else that got gloves could let us know over the season how they continue to perform for you.
We're also looking for suggestions on what you might do to improve them, if possible. We're all about developing gloves based on your needs and feedback for next year. Drop us a line anytime with your thoughts.
We'll have a bunch of other killer gear, ultimate top of the line products, we'll be putting up soon. I think ya'll will like what we're bringing to the playground.
Got any pics of that skibag in operation with 3 pair of boards in it, CS?
Although I'm clearly biased, I'll add my recent test info too.
I did a full day of hiking and skiing in wet, deep snow. Since we did so much post-holing in the crotch deep snow that my gloves were in the snow a lot.
My hands were warm and dry throughout, which is unusual for me.
The gloves, although initially stiff, softened up and were very comfortable.
Splat, no pics, no test for that matter. I just got the bag today and it was delivered to the office so the observation was mere speculation on my part. Tests will ensue tonight.
Ok, I did some testing with the ski bag and was able to fit three skis without much of a problem and the swearing was kept to a minimum.
Seriously though, they all fit pretty well, though you might want to put a towel or something around one of the two pairs that aren't separated by the inside pad.
Slight disclaimer: although the skis were long, they weren't particularly fat, on being the old Morrison's the other two being in the 115-90 range. And one pair was a tele ski, albeit with Linkens so it was sorta similar to an alpine binding. That said, I don't think fatter boards will much a huge difference, unless they are Fat Bastard dimesions. Bottome line, with a little ingenuity (and I mean very little), three boards fit nice and snug. However, the whole package weighs a ton, so don't say you weren't warned.
Now, if February will only come soon so I can use this baby on my way to Ooootah........
Cool........ thanks, CS. Love to get such glowing reports. e me at the pmgear contact button. Got another question.Quote:
