Walked around today with my Rokinon 85 and wanted to test out a new custom picture style. I like random pictures of mostly nothing so I figured I'd start this thread and see what you guys come up with. Post up some random shit from around your town, big or small!!!

perfecto! That's what I'm talking about. Just random stuff from around town can be very interesting. We see mountain views and streams, this and that. But it's our towns we live in that can be very interesting to others. Just stuff you pass by everyday can be interesting to others, or at least that's how I feel.

Love urban fragments. Will post (probably more than you'd want to see) when I have more time.

No way Fuzz, post as much as possible! I would love to see this thread take off.

advres, I see in your EXIF that you're shooting with a 50mm. Which 50 is it? The Canon 1.2, Canon 1.4, Sigma 1.4, or something else?

It is the rokinon 85 1.4. Since it is a complete manual lens the camera can't communicate with it so it just defaults to listing it as 50mm and 00 for aperture. The 7D does the same thing when I put my 8mm manual lens on. I was actually asked once how I got a 50mm to "look so fisheyed" by someone :D

Ah, got it, thanks. I've been trying to decide between the Canon 1.2 and Canon 1.4. The 1.2 costs a WHOLE bunch more, but have been reading some bad stories about the 1.4 AF motor.
