Leaving the Bozone in about an hour.
The last event of the day was a talk by Larry Heywood and Jennifer Woodlief about the 1982 Alpine Meadows avalanche.
After that, I drove back to the friends' house where I'm staying along Alpine Meadows Road, then came upstairs to my room, overlooking Bear Creek, maybe 50 yards downstream of where they found Jake Smith.
Pretty freaky.

There were some beautiful Divas at the conference.
I am bummed we didn't get to talk more J.
What a great conference, kudos to all of you who made this the best ISSW I have attended.

Awesome conference! Huge props to everyone who made it happen. It was great meeting a few of you mags too.
I drove strait through from Squaw Valley to Golden in 16.5 hours (1113+/- miles). Got a couple hours of sleep and then made it to Loveland for opening day. I haven't missed an opening day in ages... ;)
Lucky folks! Hope you all enjoyed it. I was lucky to make it to CSAW... ;)
