backpacks aren't too appreciated on a packed tram. if it's a thin one you can get away with it. i'd wait until the crowds thin or the gates open before i'd bring a regular bc setup. don't get me wrong, i like riding with mine. people at the bird don't seem to have the same love for a thick pack though.Quote:

Not much, I don't think. I was up at Alta this afternoon (they over-refunded me on my season pass, which was nice but probably not good karma to keep). It was storming like crazy down in the valley and unfortunately sunny and warm up at Alta. Snow at the base was really mushy with about 1/4" of fresh on top of the slushy stuff. It looked like it would be nice spring type conditions to ski in though.Quote:

Ill be on the mountain in the morning getting my 25 dollar Alta pass upgrades worth. That must of been sad day For you AG having to go up to Alta to give your pass back :frown: .
i was going to hit suicide chute, but couldn't find the drive to get up early. i made the 3rd tram after forgetting my pass in the car. got first tracks through elevator since i was in a hurry. tomorrow, if my friend is down, i'm gonna hit hallway couloir and do a few things in bcc. i should make it back to the bird by mid day.Quote:

They mailed me a check with the refund, but they refunded me the full price, not the early purchase price. So yesterday I went back to give them their extra 100 bucks back. Unfortunately, the person I needed to talk to wasn't in, so I'll have to go back again another day. I have no clue why they couldn't have just taken the money and left her a note, but they wouldn't... So I'll be going back again. Kinda weird that it's this difficult to give money back.Quote:

I'll be just over the ridge for another day of faceshots at the resort that has had just as much snow but has not been hammered for a week by season pass holders.
enjoy your leftovers, fart in the tram for me.
whine...snivel...paws VISA card...
Listen to Woodsy, the bird is all tracked out now. It was sweet this morning, lapped little cloud over and over until the goods were less good. We had fresh tracks the whole time we were there, Endless was even nice enough to show us some stashes. I don't know about lapping the tram since the lower mountain was manky and rocky but if you stayed up high it was sweet.
all these descriptions of what everyone will be wearing....sheesh! buy some Powder stickers and put 'em on your helmet or skis, makes maggot identification way easier.
GIT SOME TIP!!!!!!! :fm:
