This month I have bought four pairs of skis two set of bindings and built a backyard rail out of the boys old swingset, and I have a ski movie running on the computer almost all the time. My wife just shakes her head when jr. and i discuss proper goggle tint, she says we are sick, but I feel fine. Is this common or am by myself out there?
around late september freshman year of college i scared the shit out of my roommate. he came back from class to find me sitting at my desk with goggles and boots on watching a skiing flick. We'd only known each other a few weeks, so I'm sure he considered an alternate room assignment.
EDIT: not just goggles and boots. I think i had shorts on, but still...

No just for the savings but I've purchased most of my Ski gear in the Summer because it helps me deal with the withdrawal. When I receive my stuff by mail or courier its the medicine I need and it helps with the pain.

Ya I did that,bought a Connondale bike rode it all the time. My oldest son wanted to "borrow" it at school in Chicago, he had it for a week and let his room mate use it and it was acquired by souls unknown and never found its way home. If you have kids you know what i'm sayin. A new bike is in my future, but not with the passion of a new set of boards.Quote:

I bought some clothes, too, but it was an even exchange. Had a pair of Cloudveil Koven pants in at Spyder for a warranty (Spyder used to own them). They lost my pants. Didn't want any marshmallow pants so I got a check for three hondo. Bought two pants and a jacket for roughly 310. Gotta love that.

that be the plan, beginning in june we will ski big fat waterskis in the morning then either golf garden or snowski tour in the mtns. in the evening.
skiing on thawed snow is pretty fun

Hey, some of this remote real estate in BC is pretty damn cheap. Let's see, I'd need a sled for sure, though. And then a larger truck for the sled. Shit, the internet makes this too easy - I'd better stop looking.
