I just saw something on OLN where a Wolverine, the vicious little fuckers that they are, scared a Mountain Lion away from its' own kill, despite being less than half the size of the big cat.
What animals scare you the way a Wolverine scares a Mountain Lion?
I dunno about you guys, but crossing paths with a momma Grizzly and her cubs ranks right up there.
I dunno, bears don't seem to worry me nearly as much as the mt lion that's cruising around my riding areas right now. There have been multiple sightings in the last two weeks in the area. The other would be sharks. When you're sitting on a surfboard and see a fin that's about the scariest thing I've ever had happen.
i hate spiders. i hate those little fucks sooooo much, when i find one i immediately kill it then leave its bloody body where it lay as an omen for all the other creepy shits.

Big dogs creep me out. I was walking home from work one night after work at the ski shop (yeah, my ride forgot to pick me up. i was real happy.), and as I walk by an old farm house, an hound takes off after me. At first I thought he might just be a really friendly dog, but as he jumped at me, I instantly knew that wasn't the case. I parried him off to the side then got out my pocket knife. The next time he jumped at me, I gave him a little swipe as I parried him off to the side again. That got my point across and we slowely backed away from each other. Ever since then, I've never really felt comfortable around 'em.

Apparently they are saying it's over 150 pounds so where does that leave us? The state ranger has been advising some of the residents of that area to not work in the yard alone and not to leave their kids out in the yard. I haven't seen it so I'm just going on other folks sightings but some of the carcasses I've seen recently weren't left in that condition by your basic bobcats or even a pack of coyotes. Apparently none of the hunters are too surprised either (and we know my distaste for hunters).

I am less afraid of wild animals, perhaps because you're supposed to be scared of them. I mean, like FNG's story, you see a dog coming up to you, and it's probably a nice dog, but there's a small chance it could tear you up. I am scared shitless by bees. Also, wasps, hornets, yellowjackets etc. I remember playint t-ball when I was five or six years old, and a bummble bee was flying around me in the outfield and I flipped. I really don't have a problem with bears, I just hate them stealing my food. Spiders just seem too small to be anything other than afraid of me. Cockroaches, fun to play with (as a kid, I thought they were smart).
This may sound stupid but.......bulls. As in steers. As in 1200 pounds of unpredictable fuck-you-up. They're huge, they're fast, they're mean, they ain't afraid of shit, and they like to protect cows by trying to kill anything that comes close. I don't even stand close to the fence that holds them in.

Funnel web spiders. Poisonous spiders in general.
