They're both shit to me, but one has had a chance to the job and I don't think he did well enough to give him the job again. Maybe the other guy will be the same way, but then again maybe he won't.
So you're saying MD9 is 5.2 cm too short? :pQuote:

why do you have to register? shouldn't showing up at a polling station with proof of residency suffice?
Burning Man in 2005!

Hope more people vote. Not for one or another, just vote. It's sad that people complain for four years during a tenure and then don't find the time to vote for a change or to support one day out of those four years.
Michael Moore starts touring today.
The fed raised interest rates again.
Bush masks are outselling Kerry masks.
Another American was beheaded today.
Martha Stewart is being ordered to surrender.
Consumer Debt is at an all time high, as are bankruptcies.
Please vote, for something.
A big, fat, yes.
Please please please if you live in a swing state, please vote absentee. Those votes are counted by hand, with no room for any discrepancy whatsoever. We can't have another Florida.Quote:

So you guys in COLORADO, Missouri, OREGON, WASHINGTON, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Iowa, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia & Wisconsin, no matter which way you vote, please vote and please register absentee.
Aye - registered!!
I've never understood the not voting thing. I was stoked to vote. I remember registering the day I turned 18, it was like putting the country on notice that I now had a say in how things were going to go down (prior to the Florida debacle).
Isn't that one of the great things about the US? Exercise your rights!
It is good that Woodsy is making the call to get out and vote. You guys need to.
edit: I better not have been the only one to get that PM.
yeah - vote, bitches!
I voted absentee last Presidential election because I was bow hunting at my cottage, but didn't get the same feeling of civic responsibilty as actually going into a voting booth. However if it helps remove our current President I am willing to sacrifice.Quote:

Mr. Gyp lets try and keep this thread about voting in general not specifically. M'Kay !
Edit Homer Jay beat me to the punch.
check your states laws. Some allow this, some do not IIRC. Voting is important, and takes very little out of your day. Most importantly: if you don't vote, you can't bitch about the government screwing you. You don't want to lose that right... do you?Quote:

Oh,and give lots of money to your local candidates, they need it.
(this message brought to you by a poor NH campaign manager)
I'd like to see this country make the Presidential election a national holiday. It's only once every four years, come on guys help us get everyone voting!
Been registered since the age of 18 and voted in all elections since then.
This will be my fifth Presidential election. Wow, time flies. I'm sure there are a few others on this board that can admit to voting for Dukakis.Quote:

There's a protocol you just don't violate - you can admit to cheating, you can admit lying on your taxes. You can admit you're GAY for crying out loud, but don't...EVER...admit to voting for Dukakis. ;)
[Seinfeld] What IS it with Massachusetts? [/sf]
Just a little smahtah than the rest of the country, I guess. I think when Nixon beat McGovern my parents had a 'Don't blame me, I'm from Massachusetts' bumper sticker.
I called the county clerk yesterday to confirm my eligibility.
As for registering at the polls, I believe MN and WI allow it. Utah doesn't I learned in a local election a couple years ago.
You old fuck:p I was in kindergarten in 88Quote:

*whew* I know of at least TWO here that are older than I am. Their names shall remain unspoken to protect the (somewhat) innocent. :p
edit: Been registered for almost *gulp* 20 yrs. m'self.
Well at least I haven't started prefacing statements "In my day..."Quote:

You gotta love Rock the Vote. I registered at a concert.
I met dukakis in a class last semester. Hell of a nice guy. He took a bus up because he didn't want to waste the University's money. Class act all the way.
FKNA I'm voting, but I don't believe that you can't bitch about the government screwing you if you don't vote. Some people call it voting for the lesser of two evils, some famous guy called it voting for "The Evil of two lessers",& I couldn't agree more. Some people can't stomach the choice of a SH*T sandwich or a FECES hoagie, others aren't given a choice to choose.
