There was never any real reason to question that. So whats the weather going to be like at Fenway in Oct?
Cold, Bitter and Vacant
Buddy, the Red Sox don't suck either. It was a tough weekend, that's it.
They'll probably play seven more times, we'll see how it turns out.
Save your bandwagon bullshit until then.
Maybe MLB will realign once again and put Boston in the West
The Yankees suck, it's just not a commentary on their quality of play.
I was gonna go back to the Bronx last night and torch the place, but I realized I'd just be doing Darth Steinbrenner a favor.
why don't you just move to boston? you can pretend the red sox are a good team with all those other sad sacks.
why the hell wouldn't they start schilling against the yankees?
Why don't you just root for the Angels since you live in LA? By your logic that makes sense Iguess.
Don't worry, you'll get to see Schilling soon enough.
why the hell would they fuck with their roation with 16 games left in the season? that doesn't make any sense at all.Quote:

that was exactly my point dexter. you know you've posted that same sentence about 10 times now? next time i'll call you and let you know i'm going to make a joke about it.Quote:

it's monday man, just let it go and start talking smack about the playoffs again as usual.
maybe you could get iceman to be your mentor.
why the hell not? they've got the wild card solidified, why not take a chance at something?Quote:

thats not at all how they are thinking about things.Quote:

schill goes every five days, not less (untill playoffs) not more if it can be helped. not to mention they don't want to throw off anyone else either. it doesn't do them any good if they win two out of three in the bronx, but then go on to loose three of four or split wih the o's, and then come the yankees into fenway, and our rotation is still dealing with the changes.
that would be bad.
ummm, be careful there. Worse things have happened in Sox history.Quote:

Still like the Cardinals, but this time of year, the old pros show up, like they did in the Bronx this weekend. And you've just seen one of Rivera's few fuckups, so he'll be there till near November.
Like Irul is yours?Quote:

How was that your point? You suggested something that makes no sense, and isn't in line with your previous posts.
Maybe Mondays aren't your day for logic.
I've never posted that sentence, but don't let me slow down your bandwagon.
hhahahahaha. you wouldn't want me to go through all the trouble to discredit this sentence, would you?Quote:

think, then think some more, then post.
Rivera did not fuck up.
No, francona did.Quote:

Maybe you could follow your own advice and start making sense.Quote:

Bush should be the next Boston manager. He would just stomp his feet, do an aw shucks, gotta stay the course, and hand off to Rumsfield, his homey press suck up.
But wait, Boston is a serious Dem town. That won't work. haha
Turn up those speakers, because it's time for: Yankee Baseball

Wow, people really DO get into Baseball! I thought it was all just a joke.
innings matter not. Pedro's shoulder is held to gether with a banjo string. he should never go north of 100 pitches.Quote:

Dodgers may have won last night, but with our sorry rotaion & late season swoon, we are far from old pros dammit.Quote:

its the Cards series till someon takes it.
Both your east coast megolopolis teams cant hang with the powers of the midwest & their out of nowhere ace

so please
SHUT THE FUCK UP
Yeah, but the cool thing about baseball is the fact that the megaloolz teams are still duking it out, decade after decade, and those series become baseball onto themselves. You know, the Twins are hot, but they can't buy a sellout. But just try to get good seats at Fenway this weekend, and then wear a Yankee cap.
Parity sucks. Just look at the NFL. No dynasties anymore. Go Yanks.
No NFL dynasties?Quote:

Enjoy the feeling while it lasts!
So in Skiing terms then Vail and Killington are the best in the Buisness because they get the most skier days. They are the most crowded, hence the best experience.Quote:

Its only fun for the megaopolisis to duke it out. yeah.
Just for the record, in the last two years, Boston and New York have played 45 times. You'll never guess the series result. Red Sox 23, Yanks 22.
oh joy.
go twins
1 more to go.
twins w/ santana go down in the doubleheader.
pedrrrrrro loses his 4th straight.
do the yanks have the twins first or the winner of the west coast?
They will play the one with the worse record, but at the moment both Anaheim and the Twins are 90-68, so it remains to be seen.Quote:

Whoever ends up playing the winner of the AL West will be sitting pretty. The current matchups for this weekend's A's v Angels series are:
Colon v Mulder
Escobar v Zito
Washburn v Hudson
With the ALDS starting on Tuesday (am I right here), this means that the AL West winner can not pitch any of its best pitchers on normal rest more than once during the 5 game series. In fact, for any of the "aces" from this list to pitch in the first two games of the series they would be going on 3 days rest or less.
Good times.
that a's/angels series is gonna be fun to watch.
Bern, baby, Bern!

word, cause his best stuff would've clinched the series last night.
not even close to his usual stuff. i think the twins kind of lucked out considering how the yankees were getting good contact every inning. if they didnt hit into a record five double plays it may have been a different story. just goes to show how important insane defense is in the playoffs.Quote:
