I've just finished my masters dissertation (currently printing...) and I'd just like to say that reading the board daily, when I really should have been studying, has kept me grinning during a busy and fairly stressful time.
Thanks for keeping me sane with all the inanity.
Right, I'm off for a week long bender. Drunken posts may follow. Be warned.
Congrats, as having completed post graduate studies and having watched my wife do the same, I applaud you. It's a pain in the ass but very rewarding after all the hard work is done. You deserve a week long bender for sure. Are you going on or is it job time??? Neither option is as much fun as the bender.

I did this one while doing a full time job. However, I'm starting a full time PhD research post in October. Glutton for punishment, I know. I'll need a month long bender after that one!

Congrats! I've been contemplating a masters for awhile, but can't seem to ante up to the commitment. Doing it while working full-time has me shaking in my boots. So good on for getting it done and enjoy that bender (posts (and pics) requested).

Congrats. I recently finished taking a wetlands class at the local University for work and realized how much I hate college classes but miss college.

Future aspirations? Continue to apply some science to the Physiotherapy profession and work out if we are doing what we say we are doing with our treatments. We're way behind the medical profession on this one. PhD will be at University College London.
