I mean, yes we got snow here too.
7k freezing level yesterday, so yup, a smidge of duff up high.
Liar, I demand pics. ;)
Occasionally the clouds move a bit and I can see white. It's damn cold and wet here though.

Although getting snowed on last weekend sucked.
Feels like May or June here, minus the snow in town
Frozen, we share the same climate as Jackson, kinda. Summer's not over yet.
Although I wish it was.
There could be some new snow by Saturday morning. Does any body want to go and ski suncups with a little white on top on St Mary's Glacier? :D
I'd enjoy marking up some new snow.
Ceiling like 200' here raining balls and like 50° god I hope its snowing up there
been pretty cold around tahoe at night, but its gonna warm up this weekend.
Love to,but can't ski until those fargin cork-knockers at Lange send back my friggin liners !
Sardine canyon was 42 degrees at 7:35 at Dry Lake. Trees are changing daily. It is coming.
I was out spooking grouse with the brown dog last night and got snowed on! Peaks are all white here.
Haven't you got AT boots?Quote:

it's great that it's snowing, but I don't think I could mentally handle it to actually see it yet. I might have a breakdown since we've got about 9 weeks til it's ski time.
yeah yeah yeah!!!!
No snow yet here, but it was 34 degrees in Saranac Lake he other night. Leaves are changing anywhere north of Albany, with some pretty impressive amunt of colors visible in the High Peaks already. Fall seems to be about 3 weeks ahead of schedule here in the 'Dacks. :D
This is the time when the regional differences become so clear....
In the Bay Area, summer is just starting. June, July, and August are typically not great, and this year, they've been miserable (June was decent, but lately it's been so foggy that it's essentially raining in the morning).
September and October are our true summer, so as the air is starting to get crisp elsewhere, we're just gearing up for the best months of the year.
Yesterday and today have been brilliantly nice - a great change from the crap we've been dealing with. Now, all I can think about is running, mt biking and getting out in the water). Winter seems as far away as ever (though I did get my Kirkwood pass letter, which made it sink in a bit...).
Just not ready for winter yet....

If we can fly with it, I'll make sure we do. Or I suppose it could be shipped....Quote:

Stoy, 2 Planks, Buzz, GT40, and any other maggots 90 miles north of the 'hole'........
Make sure the screws on your bindings are nice and tight, cause my ass is moving to Stoyville with 98% certainty. Confirmation monday. Moving in 6 weeks or less, hopefully in time for Stoy's first outing.
Utard for the third time coming.
House warming party overlooking the Lake? Of course, after biking, climbing or whatever. sweet!
oh yeah..nice sig.
So back to Low Cache?? What are you going to be doing up this way?
Need to meet you soon anyway. So what is the scoop?
Damn - fall is just around the corner for ya'. I went to St. Lawrence University, and I remember really cold days in September. One morning in early November it hit 5 below. FKNA it was cold up there.Quote:

And you ask what am I going to be doing up thataway? Hopefully wearing out skins, exploring new terrain, and getting some turns in. And heading to the Tetons summer/winter for climbing/skiing and the Winds in the summer for alpine big wall fun. And the occasional trip to SLC for some unfinished business.
Rest assured that a 6-pack is on the way when we head out. If we have more room somewhere another one may come too. If don't mind me reeking like sweaty ski clothes, we could prolly bring even more beer.:DQuote:

So stoked right now; and praying for deep, deep pow in Utah during that week on a regular basis.
