Hey Owens,
It seems that a few of people on here have had questions about the high shipping costs. I just ordered msp's new flick and got charged $3.25 for shipping, but when i tried to order it on here it was $6.50 S&H. Is there a reason for the flat rate?

The only way we can get it cheaper is by sending it regular mail with no tracking. We've done that in the past, and ahve paid dearly in customer service issues. We would rather assure that you actually get your vid.

But damn. I'm looking at the justpushplay site thinking to myself: "Damn... I really REALLY need to get a new dvd player..."

Is anyone doing vhs anymore? I work at a videostore and our orders are usually 90% dvd, and maybe 1 or 2 copies of vhs for the new stuff, but it seems kinda unjust not to offer the latter at all... Anyone else feeling this kind of heat?

Max, I just got a Magnovox DVD player for 39.99 and it works just fine. Keep your eyes peeled for offers like that. I think it was Target we got it at, reg 59.99 and is compact.

Hell the DVD costs almost as much as a cheap player.

Do you guys get money from the orders at justpushplay, too? I am planning on buying msp's flick and stimulus, and they have free shipping on orders over 50 bucks. If I order Soul Purpose from there, the shipping will be free on it, too. But the very last thing I want to do is be a traitor and screw you guys out of what you so rightfully deserve. I want to save money, but if ordering from justpushplay means you guys get dicked over, then I am absolutely not doing it.

So whats the verdict..?

I have an extra used DVD player (KLH), pretty basic, but it still works okay. I'll be up at Mt. Hood over Labor Day weekend and can bring it up then. PM me if you are interested

Max, screw the middle man. Go to the source and suppot your companines direclty. I got Stimulus coming too, but straight from them.

I personally like to support these companies that make us drool, even if it costs a few extra bucks on shipping.

Granted, I like to save money too, but supporting TGR especially is at the top. Order it direct!! TGR deserves our support.

So Buzz... the middleman does create problems? I thought TGR might get the same amount of money for the tape and the only difference would be the shipping, but if they are getting less money through JPP, then screw those guys. TGR is where it's at!!! Err yeah. I'll order the tape from here as soon as I get my next paycheck (i.e. tomorrow :) )

Tried to place an order... When I clicked the "Send My Order" button, the page just went into a "waiting for "order.ecplace.com..." state. I don't know if the order went through or not!!!

I've already clicked the "Send My Order" button twice. Should I try a few more times???

Edit: I got a confirmation email, so I guess one of the submissions went through. Let's hope it's only 1 order!

Edit #2: FACK! I now have 3 confirmation emails for 3 different orders!

BTW, the phone number given in the order confirmation email is wrong. I got someone's answering machine when I tried to call to cancel my duplicate orders.

The owner of the wrong number has caller-ID and called me back. :eek: I explained where I got the number from, so they may be contacting you.

You may want to change the phone number!
