No way....
I guess I now need to buy a DVD player ;)
Can I borrow them from you?
All's I know is that I'm getting this :D
I'd say I'm adding that to my Christmas list, but that's like 5 months away!
Shit, I thought that vid I made with Paris got out somehow.
I had to "cowboy" over the couch to get to my wallet. Blizzard on DVD, I can't tell you how psyched I am about this! :D :D :D
Xover, plan on having a Stump-fest this fall. Who has the best TV now that Frozen is not as local as he was before? Maybe Red Baron can project onto the whole side of a building downtown from his love nest high above the mean streets of SLC??!?!?!?
Can you post the link directly to the page for these movies? 'Cause I can't find it.
Thanks. Any idea WHICH of his movies come in the 4-pack?
Anyone wanna guess the 4 vids enclosed?
License
Blizzard
Groove
Strange Glove?
I doubt Maltese, Rad & Gnarly, or P-tex make the cut...
"The enemy is weak.....Doctor Strangeglove" :DQuote:

Finally, some Nasty Rox Inc in DVD sound!
My wish list:
Blizzard of Ahhhs
Groove Requiem
Maltese Flamingo
The Good, the Rad, and the Gnarly
Y'know, I think I may be able to answer this question. Stand by.....
This one looks good for 19.95, as well

Are you ready to overdose on some classic Ski videos by Stumpy? Check out this killer 3-pack that includes P-Tex Lies & Duct Tape, Blizzard of Ahhhs, and License to Thrill ...
Mr AG...If I can round up an LCD projector, that could very well be arranged... :D
Punani,
I have ALL the Nasty Rox on vinyl! It took me years to get all the tracks from License to thrill...I'll be posting a License mix soon :)
Yeah, the Ca$h album took me quite a while to find. Since then, I've seen it pop up a few times on used music sites. I once copied the cover and transferred the music to CD. It sounded good and I could listen in the car.Quote:

A License mix would be sweet. Maybe launched the same day the box set comes out...
Nothing like a little great news to start the day. So sweet. Will definitely order.
Sick and ashamed and happy (and hard to stay in the present),
d.
There is no longer a need for VCRs. Stump box set on DVD released just in time for my birthday.
Err... "Box Set"? As in "mystery pack of 4 movies?" Hmmph. Don't know about that... I have looked all over and cannot find what 4 movies are in there. If anyone has any clue, I would be more than happy to hear it. (And educated guesses don't count ;) ).
sweet!Quote:

Now that's some Classic Ski Porn ... brings back a lot of memories.
Definitely well be adding those to the DVD collection.
I hope netflix gets it:D

BLIZZARD OF AHHHS
GROOVE
P-TEX LIES DUCKTAPE
LICENSE TO THRILL...PLUS A BONUS DVD

Yeah! I had the License soundtrack on cassette (with quotes) and Skidawg found it somewhere.Quote:

Scoured every record shop in 3 continents looking for it, then I found it (Nasty Rox Inc Cash vinyl) at a St Vincent's thrift store in Sydney for two-fitty.
"I'm sorry but you're scratching is up.... ahhh-hahahahahahahahahaha!"
Oh yeah- Skidawg also has the CJ Mackintosh mix "Spectrum is Green", the one at the start of License where you can relax, go to the fridge or dance.
dear lord that's a great lineup...Quote:

Punani -- I used to have the License cassette as well. Stumpy used to sell it directly. Sadly, it has run off some years ago....:(

Yeah, I scored that mix somehow - my memory is a bit fuzzy...
The License to Thrill soundtrack was a promo cassette by K2. I've seen a couple of copies on eBay through the years. Mine is vacuum sealed for preservation.
Ca$h has already been transferred to digital. Sounds like I'll be a bit busy transferring the movie soundtrack too. :p
Man, bringing back memories...
I used to record all my old Stump movies onto cassette. Then I too got the "License" soundtrack on tape but pretty much played it until it melted into the deeper realms of hell.
OMG....this is the only thing I can't find!!!! Do you have it on vinyl? I'd love the exact artist/title/label/catalogue #/etc if you have it.Quote:

Other than that one, the hardest one to find for me wasn't the "CASH" album but the MC Tunes v. 808 State song "Dance youself to death". I have 7", 10", 12" of MC tunes but finally found it on an acid house compilation appropriately titled "DANCE YOURSELF TO DEATH"
I accidentally bought 2 copies, let me know if you want it.
Sweet! I'll take Dance yourself to death for 100 please, Alek.Quote:

I think Skidawg ripped a feed from audio into his computer and then burned it on CD.
I was obsessed with the License soundtrack. We all had cassette copies playing on Walkmans as we ripped the same lines on Catskinner, and went for the aerial re-entry hits on Blowhole
License rules as hard as Blizzard.

Can't wait for this so I can finally throw away my vcr.
L8APX: I would STRONGLY discourage doing that... There is some good stuff out there to be gotten at good bargains on VHS. Plus DVD players can break... It sucks.
Anyway, bump cuz I'm in the middle of watching "Groove." And it kicks ass. Much much ass, as Ha Boi Ronald would say. ;)
Edit. Bump^2 cuz Sinners just arrived today. :D
<---Video stoke.
I just got off the phone with a guy from justpushplay.com. He said he spoke with one of the producers of the DVD's and they were adding some finishing touches and adding in some "really awesome new footage". He said it should be completed and ready to ship "real soon" so I'm thinking that if they are still adding stuff to the DVD's then they my not be done by the 15th.
Bump cause release date is listed as the 21st. Looking for reports on any bonus footage in the coming days...
Sick and ashamed and happy (and should just throw down),

acostiga = happy
now do you think anybody will get some of the old RAP films released on dvd? if i could get 'carving the white' on dvd it would make me tingle (even more than already) in my happy parts.
Oh Yeah Baby!! UPS just dropped it off. It came w/ a super rad Warren Miller White Magic sweatshirt! The bonus DVD is "The Power of Four", directed and narrated by Stump re: Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, & Buttermilk....I can finally slepp at night.
OMFG!!!
Please post details when you have a chance....video quality, anything new besides the aspen video?
