This guy dusty is quite comical. He loves to pick my posts apart for being juvenile and uninformative. For example, you can always go with a hijack. I, for one, am in search of the perfect alcoholic summer drink and would welcome all suggestions. I'm thinking a lemonade base is the best way to start.

My ideas add Jack Daniels to youe above mentioned lemonade and get Lynchberg Lemonade. Hard to go wrong w/ whiskey and lemonade.

Dark & Stormy:

Fill Pint glass with ice cubes.
fill 40% Mount Gay Rum.
20% Ginger Beer
Root Beer until full.

007:

Stoli-O, 7-Up, OJ.

Summer Hummer:
1/3 Lime Vodka
1/3 Orange Juice
1/3 Sour Mix

Serve on the rocks or with crushed ice in blender. Mix proportions to your liking.

a pitcher of pimms and lemonade is worth looking into while searching for the perfect summer drink

1/2 gal cheap vodka

Yeah they make an interesting version of this in the Park City area called, Hop Skip:

4 Cans lemonade
4 Cans Limeade
2 Cases of cheapest beer possible (except pabst)
2 Gal of cheapest vodka
4 of those 1/2 pints of everclear

the name is short for Hop Skip and get Naked cause thats what most of the ladies do who drink more than two cups full.

Got turned on to Pimm's at a barbie last weekend and I have to admit I'm sold. My friend's wife made this punch and let me tell you that shit will fuck you up! Went down like fruit juice with a attitude. Of course I had to rush right out and buy some for the homestead.

Friend's wifey sent me to the web site for recipes. First one is the punch she made the second will be my drink of choice tonight (My lady's mixing them now and she's got the steaks marinating). Gotta love hot summer nights.

½ bottle of Pimm`s
½ bottle of Bourbon
1/4 bottle of sweet Vermouth
1/4 bottle of white Rum
300mls of Orange Juice
1 bottle of Champagne or Sparkling wine
Fresh fruit - strawberries, pineapple, cherries, peaches


1½ measure Pimm`s
2/3 measure Scotch whisky
1/3 measure Lemon juice
5 measures lemonade
*Can use bourbon in place of scotch
