Anyone want to take a roadtrip to AZ.
...or Vegas? I bet there will be some wild superbowl parties.

G-Men shock the world, win by 3.
I predict I will not be sober.
I also predict I will talk someone into driving my drunk ass back up LCC.
But the Pats will win by 10.
too early for me to say. As a Giants fan, the last two games have given me the WORST heartburn! I can't take it. Im too young for this kind of thing! :D
We did come pretty darn close to beating NE in the last game of the regular season, but I'm not going to put all my eggs in one basket.
Hell I'm just surprised my beleaguered G-Men made it past the Cowboys.
I'm damn proud that the team I've been rooting for since I was a wee lass had made it as far as they have in the face of seemingly universal criticism.

I predict that I won't give a fuck, and I'll probably be skiing.
Pats 53
G-Men 21
I won't predict numbers.
It is going to be ugly. Pats will not tolerate what happened the first two quarters last game.
The Giants will have to play 4 quarters this time, if they want it to even be close.
Does this feel like 1986 to any NE fans? The exception being that the Giants are the plucky wildcard team and the pats the most dominant team in the game?
Giants gave us a run for our money last time, and their defense gave us some problems, I expect it to be a bit closer than the two touchdown spread, but still a pats victory.
Giants 17
Pats 16
Pats-42
G-men- 24
Giants are playing lights out but the week off will hurt them and their momentum. Pats have been a bit off the last few weeks, but the week off will help them. Pats are focused and will not be tested.
Fucking Pack....
pats 38
g-men 10
g-men did their absolute best at the end of the season. pats had the unbeaten streak on the line, but that really didn't mean as much to our coach. he was more concerned w/ the playoffs and it has showed with our play selection.
giants are just not as football smart...they blow their timeouts and eli makes too many bad decisions. the Pack were overated all season, so last nights game was meaningless when comparing a game againt the afc.
best teams in the league this yr
1)pats
2)indy, chargers
4)jacksonville
5)pitts
6)g-men, pack, dallas
-14 pt line after the way the Chargers defense shut down Brady and the offense yesterday? I may be wrong, but the Pats do NOT look as dominating as they did in the first 8-10 weeks of the season.... a fourteen pt line in the superbowl is outrageous.
I predict Tom Petty won't have a costume malfunction, but also won't look as good as Janet Jackson.
Tubing: 10+
pats: something
giants: something less
Giants, because I cannot stand Randy Moss.
Current line...pats -12.5, O/U at 53.5. Must be some money bet on the opening of +14. O/U dropped 1.5 points also.
Pats blow them out.
28 - 13
Giants win by 3, and then Tiki's head explodes.
I'm predicting a 21 point blowout...Pats all over this one.
I also predict the Packers would have made for a better game(or Dallas...and I predict someone will mention it during the game). Yeah, they played like shit last night, and yes NY dealt with the cold better...but it'll be nice and warm in Phoenix and Brett Favre would have been passing like a man possessed...there's always next year.
I really wish that I could say that Umenyiora's going to relive week 4 against the Eagles with 6 sacks and the Giants'll win in OT but honestly - no one can stop the Pat's now.
NE 28
NYG 20
I predict Eli blows it bigtime. Pats 42 Giants 10.
I hate to admit it, but I agree with nutcase all the way.
What the hell happened to the Pack's offense???
Is Aaron Ross going to be able to play? That kid is good. I think he's worth a few points either way. If he's out, I'll say Pats, 31-21.
Neither team will be used to the warm weather and minds will wonder. Brady will have a hard time focusing on the game as Giselle will attend (in some VS getup)... Eli will get jealous and start to implode when he spots them making out at halftime. Pats 27 - Giants 17
i believe the chargers have a better secondary than the giants and the patriots can get the big play, as we all saw in week 17 of the regular season. the pass rush will be there, but the pats have a top o line, and if they run block like they did last week kevin and laurance should be able to run enough to slow down that pass rush and open those slants for welker. play action, no one does it better than the patriots.
but i see this as a close game. the patriots have never won a superbowl by more than three points, and all their games have been close in the last five weeks. i'm going with a 7 point win for the pats 31 - 24, giants will have their chances but ultimately wont make the plays they need to in the fourth quarter and the pats will own that clock like they always do, making it less of a nail biter down the stretch.
Toast!!!

Add in the line change, 21 players of SB experience vs. 2, everyone talking about the Giants winning outright in the NY/NJ area, no fucking way Eli does it for a 5th straight game, no way Brady has two bad performances in a row ..... this will be over by halftime.
A bump before the show begins... anyone else make any big bets on this? I'm potentially out two quarts of Legal's fish chowder. But I'm very likely to gain a large roll of Taylors Ham!

What is this "football" y'all are talking about? Is that the sport with bases, or the one with funny bent clubs? Because I don't know much about sports other than skiing, rally racing, or IPSC. :FIREdevil
I'll be skiing powder while the rest of Denver stays home to watch the game. Superbowl Sunday is always the least crowded day of the year.
