I'm often intrigued by how different people seem on the board to how they come across in real(er) life. I think I'm a lot quieter and more reserved in real life than how I appear here.
Anybody you met who was very different to how you expected?

I'm slightly less annoying, or more so if you hate skiing or fishing or mountian biking, cause thats all I talk about ever
I constantly find myself trying to be more like the real me when I'm on the board and more like the board me in real life.
Roo...you're far cuter in real life.
I'm a fucking asshole in real life and on the internet.
Save Kimmy's boob? She having the operation done in two parts, saving up for the second nork on layaway?
;) Baby steps man, baby steps.Quote:

Easy one:
Blurred on board = biggest asshole you will ever meet. ;) :D
Blurred in person = super cool, funny, and not an asshole.
Nork? Did you really just say that?Quote:

In real life I have a huge wang.
edit: In real life I'm not a liar.
Never really gave much thought to how I come across...Either here or IRL. Unfortunately, I've only had the opprtunity to meet one person from the board, so you'd have to ask him. :D
THis board is real life isn't it?
Shit I need a life:(
I am willing to bet most everyone is a good shit in real life..;)
In real life, I'm a male model.
Some are almost identical to their online persona......some talk a lot less shit and are realy cool....others talk so much more and are far wilder in real life (sorry in person).....
Colloquial British term for boobies. "Bloody 'ell, look at the norks on that!"Quote:

Not that I'd ever demean women like that. Oh no.
"Nork." I fucking love it.
I'm a bigger dick in real life.
Agreed.Quote:

I skied Timberline on Saturday and it was Norks!Quote:

I have no personality in either place.
phUnk is in person much more loving towards toasters than in his bored life.
I *heart* Norks both in Real Life and Online.
I'm actually much taller in Real Life than I am in my Avatar...
This'll be disappointing to a lot of you, but I'm not actually a 17-year-old shaved Asian who's ready to party all night long and whose turn-ons are stinky capilene and financial irresponsibility.
Personally, I was crushed when I first met APK.Quote:

snorkeldeep was a lot taller in reality. When it's deep enough that he needs a snorkel, the rest of us need a scuba tank.
Oh, and in real life I'm a bigger geek than AKPM.
I'm a lot taller in person.
EP is ok by me! :cool:Quote:

Word on the street is that i'm sassy on.......and off the board.
Could be true.
Picture Phylis Diller smoking in a bathrobe. That's me.
at a ski movie premier a season or two ago i met vinzclortho- but that's not my point.
we met a kid wearing a yellow jacket who claimed to be tyrone shoelaces, the one from the powder magazine board. i'm not sure who the kid was... but i know that he wasn't mr. shoelaces. there are most likely bunches of tyrone impersonators out there, so always be sure to double check for authenticity.
so who was that kid wearing the yellow jacket???
yeah, but i bet he's just as dumb.Quote:

I like Blurred on the board. He posts, and is involved in better stoke than most others.Quote:

I am lucky enough to have met most people I know here before too much of an ASS U ME chun gets made by online schtuff
I am unlucky enough that the last 20 or so of ya I have met have been in large drunken groups.
CantDog exception noted.
all will tell you I post much cooler than i am really & the camera adss 10 lbs. :p
I'm a much bigger asshole in real life.
There have been only a handful of maggots I've met in person who I didn't like.
What kicks me is how once you get us all on the hill, you realize quickly what a bunch of sandbaggers we all are! Never met a maggot who couldn't hang, and most are quiet, understated rrrrippers.
And to all those who'd single out mean old Brett... well, you just don't know.
Heh ~ Thanks Bro.Quote:

More turns next year!
;)
If you were still a dude in this description then I am closer to relieved than disappointed. Yikes.Quote:

I dig everyone I've met from the board. And by now, that's actually a fair number of you. Not a soul I wouldn't want to spend a day on the hill with, or an evening at the bar with.
Unlike some others, I actually think I'm more hyper in real life than on the board. I talk more than I type. Scary.
That's actually true. I've read some of his posts, and sometimes I'm thinking, damn what an A-hole. But his stoke (edit: titties/norks) more than makes up for it. That's the whole point of this board.Quote:

I agree with WSD.
And as for myself, I've been called a freak in real life...in a good way of course. Good-freaky. :) Those who really know me think I'm too damned happy all the time, but that's just my natural way. I have a dark side, too, but that usually comes out in what I think is funny. I think I'm pretty much the same in real life as on the board. But I haven't really been on the board long enough to come to any consensus between the two.
