Need Advice

Lurked here long enough to know that you guys float between tree fucking enviro-dorks and core aficionados who try to get as much skiing in as possible. Hoping there are more of you in the second category, I need some help.

I recently said fuck all to HS and have decided to move west, hopefully getting into some comps soon. Problem is that I am broke and have no money for passes or tickets. I have a plan but my research is getting me nowhere. Which mountains take checks for lift tickets? Specifically, I want to know if Alta and the Snowbird will take my check. I plan on being in Chile by the Spring so I am not too worried. Thanks and fuck you.

I never said I was an idiot...I just said that I didn't need HS anymore. Stands to reason that I am already pretty savvy, no?

I don't think that anyone can argue that I will ski some sweet resorts without money with this plan.
