Hello :)

no i know my first post isnt anywhere near the caliber that Seamus O-tool's was but i just wanted to say hi and make myself known.. I am origionally from Pennsylvania (Jack Frost Mountain REPRESENT ;) ) and recently moved out to boulder, colorado for school.. I live in crosman hall in the engineering quad, if anyone on here goes here (CU) I have been skiing since i was three. The first time i came out to colorado, was when i was 10. I went to telluride, and the night i got there, we got three feet of snow. Needless to say, i vowed that some day i would move to colorado, and here i am :) I hope i can meet people through this board to go skiing with. I have a colorado pass, and i picked up an eldora pass as well. I cant wait for opening day at A Basin. being from PA, the conditions you guys get in october are probably better than what we got all season, so i am stoked for opening days. I plan to hit as many opening days as i can.

Actually, I have been having problems cutting and pasting images. I am sure you know this is a new problem for me... Anytime a url is more than one or two lines long in the properties paste, this is what is happening. Maybe for the best.

Seriously, what is with the url oddity? Image leech protection?

were you looking at the image on a search site? looks like yahoo showed you the image through a redirection. you should've opened the image by itself in a new window to get its real address.

example: i type 'boobies' in images.google.com and click on the third result. the image there appears to have the following url:

http://images.google.com/images?q=tb...ia/8/boobs.jpg

which is google's cache of that image, but if i click on the thumbnail the real image pops out with url:

http://capri.dk/galleri/data/media/8/boobs.jpg

if people don't want you to hotlink their images they'll usually display a nasty message, which is sometimes much worse than just a broken [IMG] tag :)
