This is so early I think it's almost a reverse jinx. So, well played?
Holy jeebus. I did have to turn on the heat this weekend to break the morning chill in the house, but it's still friggin August. Earliest thread start ever?

GD already? Even though Teton, and the alps got snow...
I'm just hoping that my last winter in Tahoe for at least a couple years is a good one.
Ublow, you have perhaps the greatest handle on TGR, but the first post in what you claim to be the Official Tahoe thread is garbage. Go look at lepistoir's thread from last year, and see how it's done. Nuke and start over.
There is neither stoke, nor conditions, or weather reports on page 1 of this thread. I therefore pronounce this thread unofficially not official.
This is the Tahoe mountain bike stoke and conditions thread, right? No snow = no ski season.
How is the dirt?
What is the best place to boulder near Kirkwood with less than 2 mile access.
Erratica probably has the most to choose from in easy ranges. The Birthday Boulder is one of my favorites sort of above Kirkwood Lake with a nice cave on the backside. They're all difficult to find without a guidebook and there are two guidebooks from tahoeboulderingguides that cover the area. The outlying areas guidebook has Erratica and maybe the secrets and one of the South/East Shore books has Birthday boulder and other Highway 88 areas.
I'd love to head out there and show you but I have to work up on the west shore tomorrow
