People who sue skiers should be shot?
Here's the set up:
You're hit from behind by a seriously out of control skier or boarder while making predictible turns. The guy who hits you has just launched a blind air off a cat track onto a run that is heavily travelled, or maybe he was doing an out of control straightline of a groomed run (think SoCal snowboarder hauling ass, then sideslipping on the heelside to burn off speed). The collision is obviously the other guys fault, and there are plenty of witnesess. You sustain serious injuries and are out for the rest of the season.
Do you sue?
For how much?
