en route
Leaving the Bozone in about an hour.
The last event of the day was a talk by Larry Heywood and Jennifer Woodlief about the 1982 Alpine Meadows avalanche.
After that, I drove back to the friends' house where I'm staying along Alpine Meadows Road, then came upstairs to my room, overlooking Bear Creek, maybe 50 yards downstream of where they found Jake Smith.
Pretty freaky.

oh, and on a lighter note... avy chicks are HAWT.
There were some beautiful Divas at the conference.
I am bummed we didn't get to talk more J.
What a great conference, kudos to all of you who made this the best ISSW I have attended.
Likewise. Just a quick hi. Oh well -- next time, or when we're in each other's neighborhoods.
'Twas a damned fine conference indeed. Lots of great info. I was a little worried after Monday, during which 2/3 of the presentations went way over my head, but the subsequent days were far more practical than theoretical. And having so many different takes really prompted interesting thoughts.
