Maggot High Speed Transport TR

Took the Blue Beast out on it's maiden voyage today. The beast works better than I ever thought. Soft ride, plenty of suspension, smooth, solid. Easy to tow through 3 feet of snow. Pulled the dog and wife around up at Tony Grove. Then got some good turns in later.

This thing will RALLY maggots at 30mph down roads and 10-15mph through pow.

Looks a lot like my Indy, and I guarantee you'll be able to "rally maggots" going a lot faster then "30 mph"...... :cool: :D

The only compensation I need is a solid partner to tour with. I will be bringing it to SLC for Timpanogos and Uinta action this winter. I'll be posting a thread for rides when I'm in SLC.

I think I work all weekend. I usually work 11a-11p on sat-sun. Take a dy off during the week and we'll get out.

Going around 10am on wednesday, then all day thurs-friday.

Make sure you let me know when you are going to do that yurt trip. With my new work schedule (4 days on and 4 days off), I should be able to tow the sled down from Missoula for some madness! :D:D:D

Have you got the GPS throttle module that drives the sled back to a pre-programmed point so that you and your ski partner can lap a face all day long?

Utards, take your vitamins!!! OUr office has the flu. It is not as bad as previous though. 1st day, hard core stomach pains (yesterday), lots of TP going to be needed, left work early. Slept from 1PM to 8:30 PM on couch, got up to go to bed, asleep by 9, woke up at 7:30 am this am. No booting anymore, just achey. Feel like I could be working and not taking a precious day off, but work is MAKING people stay home. :mad:

Track, love to hit you up on a day or two this year on an outing.

Twoplanker said he will bring whatever. I AM whatever. :D

My favorite part was how your skis almost tore you a new asshole when you jumped off the moving sled acting all cool & shit... ;)

Nice ride. Good work. I wish I could join in the fun, but am geographically challenged.

Guys around here go out with 4-6 people on 2 sleds. Two guys rideing side by side (one on each running board) and one towing, they ride up then attach the sleds together and one guy drives down towing the second sled while the others ski. They take turns and can pound an area pretty heavily.

30mph pft. Mine will double one and pull another at 55mph. Ask Z-bo how long his arms felt.

30mph is a hell of a lot faster than the average 2-3mph that someone skinning is doing.

I won't yo-yo people with the sled. You still have to get off your ass and walk. I just want it to get up the long approach roads, etc.

Don't want to look like the rest of the slednecks with budweiser bellies.

Ya, I don't yo yo either it's too stinky and noisy. Sleds are certainly nice when you can acess the back of a drainage with a 30 - 40 km aproach. Be careful though, some people can not avoid the call of the sledneck. I've got a friend who used to to tour, now he sleds. :rolleyes:

You were out with the sled already? Thats seems early but I haven't been around all week. Maybe we'll see you on the way out Wednesday...either hitting Beginner Bowl and Meadow Face or skinning out to Cornice Ridge. I think we are leaving the valley around 6.30. White Honda Civic.
