The Rusty Nails party TR thread post and stuff

Start it off by saying thanks again to Rusty, for hosting an excellent party.

Unfortunately I did not bring my camera with me, so I don't have any incriminating pics...but I know Z-BO took plenty, so...

Let's start off with who was there and whose name I can remember: Rusty (obviously), Squirrel99, ZdashBO, BC-FLOW, FUBAR, Rehabit and wife and dogs, HotButteredRum, Ski to Be, GirlSki, Viva, Tonghands, Platinum Pete, BakerBitch, Fiddler, Hop, several of FUBAR's Sturtevant's South Hill crew, a 4FRNT posse, JoshBu and galpal, several co-workers and friends of Rusty and roommate, etc. I know there were more, but I can't remember their names at the moment (shit, I almost forgot JoshBu was there!).

CONSPICUOUSLY ABSENT: MountBakerSkier, Optics, Karma, and theAD. Grant, Chris, Kirk - WTF?!?!?!?

I arrived fashionably late, due to my attempting to change my car's oil and then deciding I needed to plaster my Pistols with stickers, lest they be mistaken for another person's pair at the party, or my core-ness-ness be in doubt. Unfortunately my lateness meant that pretty much everybody was already suitably drunk. FUBAR was, well, quite FUBAR himself, making discussion pretty difficult, although I got chastised plenty for wanting to move back to Bozeman (focker!). There were some still diligently working the ski vises that weren't too inebriated, but the 'clinic' aspect of the party was pretty much over by the time my late ass got there, and I felt too lazy to ask anybody else to wax my skis for me:D

Okay, and some cool observations: Z-BO will now be going pro on the wings of the 4FRNT mark since they get along so well, BakerBoy has a striking resemblance to Kelso from "That 70's Show", Z-BO and Squirril make excellent likenessess to GirlSki and her sister, large boobs and shit-talking and all, FUBAR hearts booze (and safety meetings too), Tonghands's taste on beer goes the shittier, the better (you and Gundar should really hang out), 'Breathe and Stop' is a really good flick, it was fucking cold last night, etc.

Highlights of the night - "I'll fucking crush her!" - Rusty Nails, shit-talking legal spew when Z-BO said he's going to sue Rusty over his shitty semi-step out of the garage with GirlSki as his legal representation; the 4FRNT - Z-BO spat; Viva's excellent 'Angry Whelk' apparel, and a multi-thousand-dollar quiver lineup of boards out in the garage (aka accident waiting to happen!) - please tell me somebody got a pic of all that, it was HUGE.

a ripping good time. USC steamrolling UW was watched, the Sox beating the Cards as well, and just about every semi-recent ski flick too. I got to meet some new people and revel with older friends, and I stumbled back into my door at 5am. Thank you once again to Rusty and roommate (can't remember his name hoss, sorry) for hosting, and thanks for everybody who turned out.

next stop for all - pray for snow party!!!

AK, when do you head down to Bozeman?

Maybe I'll host something similar, provided I get a place big enough.

Note to self, a place with a garage is a must for ski storage and tuning. Fuck, I may end up having to live in Belgrade.

FUBAR totally screwed my plan of sticking to the keg beer soooo... three hours into the party i'm passed the f-out in GS's car.

i guess there were lots of visits to the car by GS and BB which i remember none of. GS, i owe you huge for blocking BB and his sharpie o' death.

couldn't figure out what the hell happened to me till i was informed that the 5 redbull vodkas i had used some special 100 proof hotrod vodka. thanks for sharing FUBAR :rolleyes:

as always it was a great time hanging with the "friends from the internet." russ thanks for hosting man. good times (the few parts i can remember that is).

Common lets see the pics of Rusty using his 'smoove-ness' to talk the clothing off the females in attendance. There's a friggin hot-tub, how hard could it have been??

Also gotta agree with Z-Bo on that 'step' into the garage, that thing is dangerous! Maybe we can make it a class action suit. :p

Great times, it was good to put names and faces to some of you folk. It sounds like the Rehabits and I left a little too early last night and missed some of the mayhem, although my head was thanking me today. I'm not sure if it was caught on film or not, but the look on GS face when SQ99 and Z-BO came out with there costume’s, sorry I meant GS’s other self and her sister made there entry, was fackin’ hilarious.

You could see it on BB's face, the cruel sun being out when he crawled out of his car wreaked havoc on his poor eyeballs. He needed these :cool: .
I think the little step from the living room to the front door was more dangerous than the garage step.
hop was looking marvelous and could have been an extra in Ski School with his stylish one piece form fitting outfit which emphasized all his finer features.
Politics was discussed vigorously here and there. Politics was vigorously ignored at other here and there locations.
I sort of learned how to tune and wax skis. Now I need to clear a place in my junk storage facility, I mean my garage, so I can set up a place to do it at home.
When sleeping spots were made available I grabbed a room by myself so I could snore away in peace. Also, due to the recently mentioned snoring, to keep me from having my mouth duct taped and thrown out in the front yard by those trying to sleep or survive hangovers.
It was great fun and Rusty is an A#1 Host. :D

Zdash has got some pictures around too, but his PM box is full as usual and he's probably face down in a gutter somewhere in Federal Way.

why don't you lazy beaaatttccchhheeesss, go on biglines and get them yerself next time. and for those not there, i was girlskis sister (check out the 'i heart z-bo' on the beanie), and sq99 was girlski.

First off I want to take my hat off to Rusty and Matt for hosting a great party. Thanks fellas!

Second, it was great to hang out with all uze Mags and put names to faces.

There are a few particular indivuduals I would like make note of (since they were willings to put up with my drunk ass): :p

HOP- You have some tough descisions coming down the pipe, but I cannot think of a better man to handle the kind of dilema you are in. Good luck in whatever you decide.

BC- Thanks for the 411 on the tech talk, and for helping me drink the Vodka, I will share it with you anytime... and YES you will kill it at Crystal this season.

Skitobe- I'll be your wingman anytime.

GS- Good people, period.

Rehabit & Sig other- Great dogs for great folks!

Jumper- What can I say about Jumper?!?!? U DA MAN! Eventhough you are ditching me this winter you Fargin Bastige!!! And, if I was a little flaky whilst conversing, I apologize... it was the booze.... hey did you see my liver by chance, it ran off on me. :rolleyes:

SQ99 & Z-BO- Nice booobs!

BB- I think you should run a spin off of the MTV show "Punk'd"... you can call it "Phunked". ;)

To Tong Hands and Crew- You guys rock! Way to road trip it up here!

Great party Rusty. Fubar it wasn't the lack of food but the high octane beverages . Great to hang with all of you. Hope we can link some turns at some point this season.
