Tahoe about to get hammered!!!!
Winter Storm Warning in Sierra:
PRECIPITATION WILL BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES TONIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY. SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS GUSTING OVER 70 MPH AT TIMES WILL ACCOMPANY THE HEAVY PRECIPITATION CREATING WHITE-OUT CONDITIONS. SNOW LEVELS ARE FORECAST TO START OUT BETWEEN 5500 AND 6000 FEET THIS EVENING...THEN LOWER TO 4500 TO 5500 FEET ON TUESDAY AS A COLD FRONT SWEEPS ACROSS OUR AREA. TOTAL SNOWFALL FROM THIS STORM IS EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 1 TO 3 FEET.

Squaw says 3-6 inches...looks like about that on the High Camp cam. 25 F at 10:00 am.
Kirkwood, cam is hard to tell but looks like they got a fair amount. The satellite image last night around 11:00 pm looked like the clouds were streaming right at it in between South Lake and Yosemite.
Last time we got a storm like this early on it was 94-95 in early October and that year was MASSIVE!!!! close to 1,000 inches at KW.
